IMDB: JUSTINE WACHSBERGER AS GIANNA?
According to IMDB, Justine Wachsberger has been cast for the role of Gianna. Remember, while IMDB has a wealth of information, they do have their quirks and they have been wrong before with the cast list. There is no confirmation elsewhere that lists Justine for Gianna, but as of yet, this is the first we’ve heard any casting rumors for that particular role. Wachsberger has a short filmography list, only having appeared in two movies prior. Back in 2004 she played a passing student in the movie First Daughter with Katie Holmes and Michael Keaton, and most recently, she appears in the upcoming film Sorority Row, which happens to be a Summit movie.
For those of you who don’t recognize the character Gianna, she is the human “secretary” who works for the Volturi, hoping one day to be turned into a vampire herself.

I know you’re all dying for some casting news, but at this point I think we have to take what we can get. It’s a small role, but I love casting news all the same. I do have a feeling Justine has nabbed the role, for two reasons: one, it’s a small role and this is the first we’ve heard any casting buzz for it, and two, she worked in a Summit film previously and Summit looks as though they like to continue working with the same actors and actresses (Rob, Dakota, etc.).
