ITN caught up with New Moon star Michael Sheen at a recent GQ event to talk about his role in the second film in the Twilight movie franchise. In this new interview, Michael, who plays the evil Aro, discusses how he is looking forward to the New Moon movie premiere and what he’s doing to ‘gear up’ for it, his take on his character and how he physically got into the role, how he’s now “a poster on his own daughter’s wall”, and more:

Well, Michael Sheen can’t simply play his loveable self… he’d make Aro too adorable! I’m sure he turns on the demonic side but also puts a little of himself into the role. I can’t wait to see him as Aro!!! I watched Underworld this weekend on TV and simply wallowed in watching his performance as Lucian. I know he wasn’t much younger but he sure he seemed like it. Anyway, can’t wait…..!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait to see Michael as Aro. So sweet his daughter has his photo on her wall. Can’t wait to dislike him intensely!!! (In the role of course) : )

I am thrilled that Michael Sheen is playing Aro. I think he is going to do such a fantastic job! The volturi look incredible!!!!!!!!!
