JACKSON RATHBONE GRANTS DYING FAN’S WISH
As if we didn’t already love Jackson Rathbone, he’s given us yet another reason to. After hearing of a fan’s wish, who happened to have terminal cancer, Jackson made sure to do everything in his power to make that wish come true. Read more from Starpulse about the cool story below:
Twilight star Jackson Rathbone is making a dying fan’s dream come true - by treating her to a behind-the-scenes tour of his band’s upcoming concert.The actor, who played Jasper Hale in the vampire love story, spends his spare time performing with two friends in the rock group 100 Monkeys. And when Rathbone heard that a Twilight fan is suffering from terminal cancer, he vowed to make her dreams come true.
He’s offered to let 14-year-old Dorothy hang out backstage with the band at Saturday’s show in Dallas, Texas - and the star is convinced the selfless act is the least he could do.
The 24 year old says, “We’re all very lucky people and helping others makes us who we are.”
I think this story is great. It’s such a small thing, but I love that Jackson was so willing to help out. It seems like all of our Twilight stars love to jump in and help out charities or those in need. Kudos to Jackson! How do you feel about this story?

Jackson is another sweetheart of the Twi Saga. Love it that he is letting Dorothy hang out backstage. He and the rest of the cast all seem to be READY any time to give of themselves for someone or a charity. : )
That’s awesome! The thing about it is, not only did he touch her life, but she’s now impacted his life in a major way as well, so he will always carry her memory with him.

i feel so sorry for the girl though. cancer is terrible. i’ve had, like, seven family members die from it 8-(
The world needs more people (especially “stars” and people who have influence) like Jackson and the Twilight cast. It’s so wonderful to see people do something so wonderful for someone else and how simple! I’m glad he could grant Dorothy’s wish.
The Make a Wish foundation is amazing, and I have known someone who received their wish, but there are so many deserving out there so it’s wonderful when people take it upon themselves to grant a wish - Jackson rocks!
Just when I thought I couldn’t love him anymore than I do, he goes and proves me wrong. He’s so sweet!
It’s the LEAST he could do….he’s an “A” list celebrity afterall….I think ANY celebrity would/should do something like this for a child who’s terminal. I would expect nothing less of him or any other celebrity. My only question is…why didn’t he take her to meet the TWILIGHT cast?? I can’t imagine she wasn’t a FAN!!!
