JODELLE FERLAND CONFIRMS BEING CAST IN ‘ECLIPSE’

Late last night we brought you the story that Jodelle Ferland was rumored to have been cast in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and today we have some great news: confirmation! Jodelle herself Twittered about the confirmation, and her official website also confirms the news:
Its official! Jodelle has been cast in the Twilight Saga, The 3rd Film, Eclipse! she will playing The Newborn Vampire! We are really excited for her. How so many of you had petitioned for Jodelle to be cast as Jane, and now she gets to work alongside the cast and Dakota Fanning who was cast as Jane for New Moon.
As you notice, she has been cast as “The Newborn Vampire”. I’m going to go ahead and assume this means she will be Bree. Regardless of what role, I’m thrilled to have Jodelle on board. Many had seen her as Jane initially, but I think we got the best of both worlds in the sense that we have both Dakota and Jodelle in the franchise. Welcome, Jodelle!!

I am 100% sure that she would be AWSOME!
Not familiar with her at all, but something about her face that tells me she would be an awesome newborn. I think the more innocent looking they are, the more evil comes across when they transform.

Wow, there are so many bigger named stars taking such small parts just to be in these movies.
Don’t get me wrong I’m glad they are but it just shows that it is a franchise that will get them a lot of exposure, not to mention the fan base attached to it.
She will be a good Bree, I too initially thought of her for the part of Jane, but Dakota I sure is going to do the part extremely well.

I agree with previous post - when I saw her face, it’s like someone went into my brain and took a picture of how I pictured Bree. Down to the hair color.. I must say that I have yet to find a casting mistake for the saga.. Everyone (maybe except for Sam in the first movie) is exactly how I pictured them when reading the books.. I love it! Amazing job I say:-)

She looks exactly how I pictured Bree. Perfect.
I’m really upset she’s Bree. I don’t see it at all! Maybe I’m a little biest because I auditioned for the role and wanted it SO badly, but still.
I do think she looks like Jane–I don’t think Dakota should be Jane. [I really don’t like it when they try to put a lot of known actors in the same movie..plus Dakota and Kristen are working on another movie together to..again…not a good idea. I don’t like it!]
I’m fighting the urge to say I’m not going to see this movie now. With Rachelle gone…and this girl Bree, not me…and just. ugh. -_-
