JUST JARED: TAYLOR LAUTNER AT GOLDEN GLOBE STYLE LOUNGE

Ever since it was announced that Taylor Lautner would be reprising his role as Jacob Black in ‘New Moon’, there have been some screams of joy and some screams of frustration. But, no matter what feelings you have about the news that Taylor is coming back, everyone wants to know what he’s looking like nowadays. He’s put on 20 pounds and guarantees even more – and yesterday at the Kari Feinstein Golden Globe Style Lounge at Zune LA in Los Angeles, we got a glimpse of Taylor’s new physique.

Okay, wow! What a difference a few months can make. I think Taylor looks great, and his hard work is definitely paying off for him. I definitely trust that he’ll look the part by the time filming for ‘New Moon’ rolls around.

    I gotta say, I’m not a fan of Taylor Lautner, I thought he was all wrong for the part of Jacob, but since hearing that he is on again for New Moon I decided I had to “learn” to like him. I cannot believe how different he looks from Twilight! I hope he is able to put on some more weight, because he looks pretty tight. Keep up the good work Taylor… although I’m still totally unsure of how they are going to make him 6’5….

    Anyone that says it has to be steroids…give me a break!!!
    Obviously you haven’t been around most 16-17yr old boys these days.

    It is possible to gain this amount of muscle the healthy way.

    I think that the initial casting of Jacob Black was perfect. Taylor’s look and performance were great. The thing is…playing Jacob Black in New Moon is not just a question of “size” – it is also the matter of maturity. Jacob’s body and features mature throughout New Moon – which is a whole different thing to putting on muscle. That being said…this film has a larger budget than Twilight did and with a good makeup artist and special effects – they might just make Taylor into the Jacob we hope to see…

    Ummm… all I can say is DAMNNN!! I’m so glad he is coming back as Jacob, and you can tell that he really wanted the job because of how hard he worked to get bigger!!!

    lol I love that he has some mustache fuzz coming in. Even his face looks a little older. Amazing how so much can change in just one year at that age.

    He really has added muscle but his face still looks so sweet. I am very happy he still has the role.

    I think Taylor looks great in these pics. He really tried hard to show how much that he wanted to continue to play the role as Jacob and it paid off. I think Taylor makes a good Jacob but I’m a little concerned about the chemistry that him and Kristen will have in the movie. She totally has it with Rob….but I don’t think there is any there with her and Taylor? It’s going to be hard to pull it off in my opinion because this whole next movie will be based on their relationship. My doughts aside…..I’ll still be there 100% to support them all:)

    I think he looks great. I hope he’s not hurting himself with that intense work out routine. He’s just a kid, and it seems like a tremendous amount of pressure on him. My own son is 15, and they won’t let him lift too much weight at his school gym–something to do with heavy weightlifting affecting the growth of his (still growing) bones.
    Anyway, I’m glad Taylor’s back.

    Look at his ‘guns’ and tell me he isn’t Jacob!!! OhMyJacob!!!! I am still team Edward, but Taylor is THE PERFACT Jacob. They can make him look taller with camera angels and such. But OMJ!!! He is Jacob 1100000000220048574897 percent!!!!

    Aw! He for sure pack on muscles, you can see his arms more vein popping. Ugh, I hope he doesn’t need to pack on anymore pounds. Kind of freaky to see how much muscle he can put on in that period of time.

    I’m not sure. He currently still looks like a ‘man-boy’. Just b/c a boy is ripped doesn’t mean he’s matured into that mid-20s growth spurt that takes him looking from a boy to a man in the face.

    i think he os puting to much pressure on him self to get puf. its not good. he can do damage to his body if he keeps that up. but other then that. he is H.O.T!

    I agree, he’s looking more the part. He def. seems older, maybe not in his late 20s though lol. wish he had his wig on so we could see the full affect :) I think he’s going to do a great job.

    Unfortunately, working out isn’t going to make him any taller. :(

    Im so glad they kept him it would have been so stupid if someone eles played Jacob Black. The should keep the same actors + it would have ruined the movie and god dam he looks good. His new and imporved body is ready to be shirtless for new moon anyday :D

    Now he just needs to do something about his nose and teeth. His nose is HUMUNGOUS and looks like a light bulb and his way too white teeth with fangs??? There is no way he is ANY kind of competition for Rob’s Edward. He’s still too short. I think they should have gone with an older actor, maybe one who is actually Native American.

    I saw him in person, two weeks ago and he looks even better in person than in these pictures! He is going to be great in New Moon. So glad that the new director likes Taylor.

    People he does not have to be 6’5!!! He just has to be taller than Kristin which I think he is. I must say he looks good!! I just hope he is not doing something that can harm him. I am really getting excited about New Moon.

    i am not the biggest fan of taylor lautner but I must say that he is doing a very good job. he gain a lot of muscles, and i am so sure he work out a lot just to get that. you just deserve the role of jacob black. keep up the good work and good luck.

    ahaha! i’ve loved Taylor forever, ad now I’m just loving him even more every day! He is looking so buff! And it’s unbelievable how dedicated he is to his work!! You can tell that he REALLY wants to play Jacob throughout the entire series. He is actually the only reason why I’m oing to see “New Moon” considering I pretty much hated the etire cast of “Twilight.” And I’m sorry but I hated Catherine so I’m hoping Chris does a MUCH better job, and doesnt leave out so many important details…anyway Taylor is looking great, and he is the perfect Jacob!! =D

    I’m really surprised that they picked Taylor for the part of Jacob. Reflecting back on Twilight, he was kind of young looking (baby face) to play Jacob. I’m not sure if he can handle his part in New Moon ( a huge part), but they know what they’re doing (director, etc). Even now when I see Taylor’s pix, he still looks young for the part. He’s trying to look mature for the part, but for the future, it’s not a good idea for the body. He will mature enough in time, can’t push mother nature. Anyway, good luck to him, he is going to need it.

    Taylor is so gorgeous! I think he looks good now if he gains more muscle it wouldn’t look too good on him because he’s not really that tall! I like Taylor more than Robert, and he’ll definitely be the sexiest and fittest in New Moon :D

    I am very excited that Taylor got the role back in New Moon…I am and still a Team Jacob fan, so after seeing his new pic and the interview, I’m really quite pleased that he worked really hard to bulk up, and it shows! He was way ” slimmer ” as Twilight Jacob, and now he is …wowza! really well defined! good job on him being chosen again! I really hate how some shows change actors or actresses. It just wouldn’t be the same if he didn’t come back. I can’t wait until the next movie comes out!!! and we’ll see more of Jacob on this movie…YAY!~

    I think that he has gotten alot buffer but he isnt as cute because he looks tired and he needs a hair cut. Where did my Taylor go? Now I know what Bella meant when she said that Jacob was no longer her Jacob. But I am happy he is going to be Jacob I didnt like the guy they were thinking of replacing him with. The other guy wasnt cute and he was very cocy.

    OMFG He is soooo FINE!!!Okay i’m not a Jacob Black fan…Edward all da way!!!But Taylor was a good pick…If they didn’t keep him that would of ruined the movie…[I think!]He is the Perfect Jacob Black!! And DAMN Taylor is way hotter then Rob!!! [My opinion] But i am proud of him and i hope he keeps up the good work..without hurting himself!
