KansasCity.com has a short new article about the latest ‘Twilight’ facts and statistics, and it’s pretty interesting (and awesome!) to read!
Here is what they pulled together:
For the end of a big “Twilight†year, we offer five big facts about the movie and books to sink your teeth into:•The movie has grossed $169.9 million since opening six weeks ago, zooming past 007 himself in “Quantum of Solace†and placing eighth (so far) for all of 2008. (See the Top 10 list below.)
•Director Chris Weitz is reportedly in Vancouver, British Columbia, preparing to start filming the sequel, “New Moon,†in March. It’s due out Nov. 20.
•Meanwhile, “Twilight†star Robert Pattinson, sporting a surreal mustache, will appear as artist Salvador Dali in “Little Ashes†(named for one of Dali’s paintings). It’s set to open March 27. See the trailer here.
•Stephenie Meyer’s four novels in the Twilight Saga have now sold 25 million copies worldwide.
•She’s working on a ghost story called Summer House and one or two sequels to her best-selling sci-fi fantasy, The Host.
