FULL-LENGTH ‘NEW MOON’ TRAILER TO PLAY BEFORE ‘BANDSLAM’?

96.7 KISS FM, an Austin, Texas based radio station, is reporting that the full length trailer for New Moon will play before the film Bandslam, which is also backed by Summit Entertainment. Bandslam is a story about a new kid in town who attempts to assemble a fledgling rock band. The movie stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alyson Machalka, Lisa Kudrow, and David Bowie, among others, and has a set release date of August 14th, 2009. Read what KISS FM had to say, below:

The full length trailer for Twilight 2 will be at the beginning of Band Slam, which is the movie Bobby [KISS FM radio host] is in. He’s very excited about this and all of you should be too! Check the movie out.

I’m so excited to hear some word about when we’ll see the full-length trailer on screen! I’m sure we’ll get several clips and shorter trailers before then, but I love seeing the trailers on the big movie screen. I haven’t heard much about Bandslam, but now I will definitely put it on my “to-watch” list.

Will you end up seeing Bandslam in hopes of catching the full-length trailer? If so, is it a movie you wanted to see anyway, or will you just see it for the trailer?

    all the article is saying that supposidely theres going to be a full length new moon trailer during the credits before the movie bandslam.

    I’m not going to see the movie just to see the trailer…the trailer will be posted online eventually anyway…

    Truthfully they could have picked a better movie to put the trailer before. i know they’re trying to support other Summit movies and yadda yadda yadda, which in theory is a good idea. But this movie looks ridiculous, I like Alyson, but that is not enough to get me to cough up nearly ten bucks to see this.
    I’m also going to wait til it gets onto the internet…

    I think I’ll just go in to that theatre, watch the previews, then go ask to switch to a different movie or something. Did they HAVE to pick such a horrible looking movie to play it before?

    That is awesome! I have plans to see that movie anyway…my daughter is a huge Vanessa Hudgens fan…The New Moon trailer makes it that much more exciting to see BandSlam~!!

    That Bobby guy is known for hoax so I wouldn’t be surprised if the trailer is not shown

    Plus, he would say anything to get people to watch the movie because he’s in it.

    I’m a fan of Vanessa so I’ll be seeing it other way

    It would be hillarious if everyone went to the movie then left immediately after the trailer. LOL!

    i really can’t wait for the new moon..this is really a terrific movie..i saw the trailers and definitely its a blast..!damn good movie!

    wow i’d have to say that is a very sad attempt to try get SOME people to see this movie.. whatever it’s called i really don’t care. i guess it would work though.. some of us are just so depesperate to see the trailer that we’d pay to see any movie… :(

    I didn’t have any plans to see this movie,and just because the trailer for NM might be included won’t make me go see it. I’d rather save my $$ and just see it when it get’s posted online.

    here’s hoping they have the trailer before Harry Potter or Transformers.. because this movie doesn’t interest me at all so i won’t be going to see it lol

    the blu-ray’s internet capabilities is going to have the teaser, so that’s probably all this will be.. since the movie’s not finished enough to have a REAL trailer that’ll be shown in theaters/on tv starting around September probably

    Hahaha, that was hysterical, and I’m totally down to chip in to send someone, anyone but me to it.

    And Kevin my fingers are crossed that you’re right about Transformers or Harry Potter.
    Please please please….Because that would be sheer genius if it were.

    I was gonna watch bandslam before they said anything about the new moon trailer. But if I see the trailer I won’t pay A single strand of attention to that movie. All I’ll be thinking is ‘new moon new moon edward edward hot hot jacob jacob’. Lol Maybe I’ll refund my ticket or just leave.

I am going to save my 10 dollars and wait till it gets leaked online like the day the movie comes out…and if it IS true and the official long trailer IS before the movie…then maybe ill pay just to see it large and loud. Im going to scream on the top of my lungs WOOOHOOOO! then leave when its done ahhahahah.
