Kristen Stewart was a guest last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! She talks about her current projects, jokes around with Kimmel and introduces a clip from ‘Adventureland’.

I think Kristen still looks a little frightened when she’s being interviewed live. Not that I blame her, I would be terrified! I’m glad she was able to have a little fun with Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m not going to do the Kristen Stewart show I promise.” I was also glad to see that Kristen really does love working on the ‘Twilight’ movies.
‘Adventureland’ looks so good, I’m really looking forward to seeing it.

A nice look at Kristen from a different perspective. Almost no talk related to Twilight. She did seem a bit uncomfortable, but that would be very understandable. I am looking forward to seeing both movies.
I am also looking forward to seeing her in the inevitable round of interviews when New Moon comes out. I will be looking to see if she is more at ease with the question routine.
Anyway, I am a Kristen fan.
Kudos to Kristen for yet another in a string of recent interviews where she is showing a little bit more of herself.
She still seems nervous but I think that Jimmy did a fabulous job staying on topic. Obviously knowing her dad was a big plus in knowing how to talk to a shy 18 year old girl.
I’m so glad she looks more comfortable! I’ve always thought she was just shy and not interested in the spotlight so much as doing good work. I always felt badly for her when everyone jumps on her! I’m glad she’s looking more comfortable, even if still a little nervous. I think she’s misunderstood but I’m a fan and I think she’s come a long way from the Today Show interview where she looked like she was going to faint. That poor thing was terrified….but I would have probably actually fainted, so she’s still got one up on me!
I stayed up to watch this (and since I get up at 445am- that’s saying something!). I was really impressed with the interview. You can tell she’s felt better. I think the fact that Kimmel is young/funny and actually had questions to ask and not ridicule over her answer (Letterman :/) helped put her at ease.

She did better this time, with Jimmy’s help. If her father works for Jimmy’s show then Jimmy was of course motivated to be nice and helpful to Kristen. I think she tried a little harder to smile too.
Nice to see Kristen looking a little more at ease! I’m with you “Forever”-she’s always so focused on the work that she often seems uncomfortable when she’s doing interviews. I think that Kristin is such a great actor that it’s often easy for us to forget that she’s only 18-I suspect that having to do so much press for Twilight has helped her be a little bit more at ease during interviews. The girl has the acting chops and I’m sure that with all the work coming her way, she’ll get better and better at making the talk show circuit. And she looked great!
She did a good job. At first when she was saying the fire for fire thing, she almost, almost, put her foot in her mouth, but she let it go, and went with the flow, which was a good thing but I got what she was saying and what she really wanted to say, but again, very happy she left it go and moved on. When she tried out a few jokes, she seemed self concious about how people would take it, but Jimmy kept hitting her with off the wall $hit, she started to loosen up and I actually enjoyed watching her all naturale.
I did not think the way he ended the interview was appropriate. We already know she’s doing damage control, but to announce to everyone that her dad works for the studio sometimes only implied that she only got the interview, and it may be true, because of her dad’s connnections and he was trying to do damage control for her as well. Bad taste man. Awkward start, really started getting into it laughing with them, smiling as it’s about to end, and bam, out of the blue he drops that info. in there and asks her to get his dad a job since her dad works there. aagghhhh…wtf. But anyway,…. I do appreciate the visable effort she is putting into what she’s says and how she comes acrossed, and she’s loosening up a little. If she keeps that up, she’ll be good. Fans adore her, but they were po’d because she hurt their feelings by making them feel like they weren’t crap, but maybe she empthizes with them slightly now.
Anyway, good luck on the new releases, and the upcoming movies. And thanks for being human.
I agree that Kristen seems to be getting a little more used to it. I’m excited for her, because she is awesome. It’s understandable why she is feeling shy and overwhelmed. Post Twilight she already has: The Cake Eaters (which I am soo excited to see on Monday after I was originally supposed to see it back in July at the Stony Brook Film Festival- where it won best picture!!!), then Adventureland in a few weeks (again one I had been planning to see), and in only like 8 months New Moon! I think she is just shy and overwhelmed

Kristen looked very pretty and the interview was awesome. She is a little more relaxed and is smiling. I think both Rob & Kristen are nervous during interviews, but it is a must with their line of work. I think doing numerous interviews regarding Twilight has made her adjust to some of the limelight. Both she and Rob have difficulty with interviews, but both are adjusting fine. Good luck with New Moon, Kristen!

I think this interview went really well. She’s still a little nervous but that’s OK. She will get better and better at interviews. She already is much better at it than she was in Nov. When Jimmy asks her if she stalked herself, I just about fell out of my chair-that was funny, in a weird sort of way. Liked the Adventureland clip even though I’d already seen that one-it’s in one of the trailers. Can’t wait to see Adventureland-looks great! The Cake Eaters looks super-at least Kristen’s performance in it looks super-have a feeling tissues will be needed.
