KRISTEN STEWART TALKS ‘ECLIPSE’

Hollywood Outbreak.com has a great new audio interview with Kristen Stewart where she discusses her upcoming role as Bella in Eclipse, and what she thinks of the relationships between Bella, Edward and Jacob. We have transcribed the audio for you below::

Eclipse is such, just like New Moon sort of starts and becomes a completely different movie, so does Eclipse. It’s like just as soon as you think you’re going to get like the same story, it sort of all of a sudden just completely changes. What was interesting for me to explore was different levels of love and acknowledging that the ideals that you maybe had a little while ago aren’t true. Being able to, Bella’s innately honest, that’s something I feel she is. In Eclipse she lies to herself and she lies to everybody around her, about the fact that she’s in love with Jacob – just not as much. It’s not that extra thing that you can’t really even describe. I loved watching the three of them, I loved playing with the three characters together. I mean there’s literally a scene where Jacob and Edward, who are mortal enemies, are in a tent with sleeping Bella in between them. And it’s a ridiculous a ridiculous circumstance to find yourself in. So the story was like, we had so much to work with, and then the effects as well were even more. There’s a big battle that happens and that was more then we had to deal with on New Moon, so that was cool.

Eclipse is definitely a step above New Moon. Bella & Edward are much closer physically. I saw stills of them kissing in the meadow and on Edward’s bed. It must be the scene where she tries to seduce him. The third movie has so much going for it the triangle between Edward, Bella and Jacob. The battle with the newborns and the engagement. I’m so looking forward to Eclpse and Remember Me (Rob’s movie). Rob has been very mischievious.

I hope teasr on the show Life unexpected since Bella is grounded like to see one or two since Lux is in Portland Org. Like Blaze might be relater to Weber in Fork you know I mean?

The tent scene is great and imperative. Especially the “reveal”. However the call regarding the kiss and her broken hand is so AMAZING in the book that I am hoping it is the in movie…otherwise, he movie will probably be horrible!!!! It is so revalationary of all of them.

Hey Britt..edward isn’t suppose to have a bed….i want to see that still! And i hate to be a downer, but Kristen REALLY needs to work on her interview skills. She says the word “like” ALL the time!! She’s always so nervous and it’s painfully obvious.

Excited about the tent scene and glad they are keeping it. Irritated that so many people are SO very critical of the actors and movies. They are people just like us, only they have the coolest job in the world and everyone knows who they are bc of it. They work so hard to please us, the fans, and they’re doing their best- cut them some slack. They’re no more perfect than any of us; I wish people would take a step back and see it all for what it is.

I personally love the Twi franchise, every bit of it- the corny and not-quite-right written (movie) stuff as well as the mind-blowing acting and scenes bc I know nothing will ever be perfect and it is what it is. It’s easy to be on the outside looking in to have criticisms and judgements for days but not a single one of us knows what any of these celebs are gong thru. Give them the benefit of the doubt sometimes- I’ve found it never hurts.

I love listening to Kristen. I think that young lady has such depth and perception.
It sounds like Eclipse will be really good. I just hope they depict the love triangle like the book. I definately want to see more of the LOVE between Edward and Bella. The tent scene is HUGE! I cannot wait.

Im so excited for David Slades version of Eclipse! He seems like a really cool guy with great visual ideas. This excites the crap out of me! Maybe he’ll step Twilight up a notch. I’ve felt like the fright factor was missing from both movies. I mean, we are dealing with supernatural monsters who can kill you.

I have high hopes for Eclipse. It’s my favorite book by far! Bellas inserting herself into the Cullens home and lives, Charlies a prick but with good reason, she fights against her instincts where Jake is involved, and poor Edward gets sucked into a pissing contest with a sixteen year old. LOL! Bella, Bella Bella. (shakes head and sighs.)

Honestly, my biggest fear is Melissa’s script. She royaly screwed Twilights plot into an unrecognizable mess but I forgave her a little in New Moon. So I’m holding my breath for Eclipse.

Of course Edward has a bed, this is the scene where he gets the bed but Bella sleeps on the couch anyway, then when he gets home that night, he carries her to the bed, then the leg hitching scene happens… wow….

WHEW!!! The tent scene is in!!!! I was holding my breath. MR had left out some important parts of New Moon and I was so upset but if she has Fire and Ice (Chapter 22) in this movie, all may just be forgiven! As for the bedroom scene…Yes, Edward bought a bed for his bedroom when he knew he was going to have Bella kidnapped by Alice while he was away. I am so freaking happy that both of those scenes will be in the movie! The only other part that would make my day is when Edward stalks Bella at night as she sneaks away to see Jacob. This is when he takes a part of her truck and is sitting in the cab when she hops in to turn on the ignition and is frightened when he starts to talk to himself. Gosh, I hop that part is in! I honestly did not think I could be this excited about Eclipse until today when I saw the new stills. My favorite book is New Moon and then Eclipse, but all of a sudden, Eclipse is looking GREAT! Whoooo Hooo!!! Bring on the tent scene!
