Mackenzie Foy Tops List in Fandango’s “Female Breakout Star of 2012″ for ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′
Fandango has compiled the votes of fans in their search for the biggest male and female breakout stars of 2012. Little Mackenzie Foy has taken the top spot in “Biggest Female Breakout Star of 2012″ for her upcoming portrayal of Renesmee Cullen in Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Check it all out below:
We surveyed Fandango users to see which relative newcomers are poised to have a big year. The results find a pair of Hunger Games stars dueling for the top spot in the men’s category while a half human, half-vampire child and a possible Catwoman sidekick top the women’s list.
While Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth top the men’s list, you might wonder why Jennifer Lawrence, who plays lead Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games isn’t on here. Lawrence already broke out before she picked up Katniss’ bow and arrow for Hunger Games (though, of course being a part of a potential mega-franchise doesn’t hurt) with roles in X-Men: First Class and her Oscar nomination for Winter’s Bone.
