MIDNIGHT SUN LEAK UPDATE!

UPDATE: The leak is a PDF scan of a letter size manuscript containing Chapters 1 – 12 of Midnight Sun. The manuscript is incomplete, not in order, and is missing pages. And finally the PDF ends before the meadow scene which is Chapter 13 in Twilight.

I’m sure Stephenie Meyer isn’t too happy about this and would prefer that her fans read the polished version.

Do you guys plan on reading it if you come across it?

I understand how most of you could feel as if you’re going against Stephenie Meyer’s wishes by reading the partial draft, but it’s okay. Since it’s already been released to countless locations, Steph gave permission for fans to go ahead and read it, but to expect a more edited draft in the near future. She posted a link on her website containing the first 12 chapters, but since it’s a PDF file, you need Adobe Reader to open it up. See ya!

I have already read it but this because i downloaded it from the official site of SM herself , she said as long as this partial draft had already been leaked, then, she didn’t want her fans to make sacrifices struggling with their curiosity!!

Please continue with your verison on Midnight Sun.I have not read the other verison and have no plans to do so.I will wait for your book.Continue with the Twilight series because there are so many unanswered question.

Sorry stephanie!!!! I know it is so horrible but I read the first few chapters… my curiousity totally got the best of me! I feel so ashamed, but it is really REALLY good.

I admit it…i read it…I didn;t really want to, but I did at the same time…because it WAS kind of stealing… but think about it! that would be like only reading the whole series ONE TIME….how do you live? I really really want her to publish it…and i think she should because all the fans want it! and whoever leaked it…they really shouldnt have because they had absolutley no right to do that. If SM didn’t want it published, then why would you leak it? My curiosity really got the best of me…IM REALLY SORRY FOR READING IT! but i HAD to! and didnt she put it on her website anyway? meaning that she didnt care if you read it or not? so then wouldnt it be kind of ok to read it? and i will ABSOLUTLEY BUY IT if she publishes it…back to back. cuz the beginning was very good and i want her to finish it!!!

Yeah I read it, i don’t like it, but it isn’t much different than listening to music for free on youtube..
It was really great though! Finally we can see in Edward’s mind ^^

I would definatley not read it although i can’t say i would’nt be temptated i love the books except i think it’s unfair to Stephanie Meyer as she feels she has to stop writing the sequel and the people that did post it were stupid an making everyone ekse suffer the conciquenses of not getting a 5th installment of the twilight saga!!!

SHE ALSO PUT SOMETHING ON THE MANUSCRIPT SO THAT YOU CAN’T PRINT IT OR COPY AND PASTE IT SO THE ONLY WAY SOMEONE COULD GET THEIR HANDS ON THEIR OWN COPY WERE IF THEY RETYPED IT OUT WHICH I DOUBT ANYONE WOULD FOLLOW THROUGH WITH DOING BECAUSE THAT IS 264 PAGES TO TYPE OUT WHICH IS A WASTE OF TIME. SO IT IS NOT DISRESPECTFUL CAUSE SHE SAID SHE DOESN’T WANT US TO SACRIFICE THIS SO THAT WE FEEL THAT WE ARE STILL LOYAL TO HER. SO SHE POSTED A COPY HERSELF.

theres no way i am going to read it until i have the book in my hands. like Stephanie Meyer said, its not completed and there are mistakes and when shes finished with it and has it released the final product will be “infinitely superior” to the draft that is on the internet. Plus why read the first 12 chapters, because i know if i was to read it i would be more curious after i read it than i am now….as much as i anticipate the release i can wait until i buy the book for myself. And read the entire thing at one time….

I’m not reading it until it is published and i dont think any1 shuld read it until it is published i think it is supposed to be published sumtime in may 2010 but im not sure. i realy think she shuld continue writing it and publish it soon because the saga shuld NOT end with breaking dawn and i think she shuld make a book about bellas life as a vampire. that wuld be really awsome to read.

i would not read it. im still reading breaking dawn and am avoiding spoilers as i prefere the story to unfold as im reading.

i havent read midnight sun and i dont intend to untill ive actually bought it, anti bd how could you say that breaking dawn was awful??? that was the best and most interesting book in the saga, although i do hope stephenie does do 1 more book after that because i thought there wasent enough of bellas and edwards romantic new vampire life in bd, it would be amazing to read how renesme grows up and her relationship with jacob, maybe that could be somthing for the future when us 20 odds are 40 sumfinks lol. i love the fact that edward always wanted to protect bella especially in the first book but it seems to fade out in the other books, it would be great to make edwards and bellas life into a movie a few years into bella being a vampire. cant wait to read midnight sun and i hope that stephenie does do 1 more book about bellas life as a vampire and raising her daughter and being edwards wife

I'd rather have Stephanir Meyer's published book in my hands. There's no way I'm reading the stolen version. If I have to, I am going to wait as long as I can when the Midnight Sun is finished, published and ready to be read at the bookstore. Could be two years, could be twenty- patience is a virtue.

I love the whole twilight saga and from what stephanie meyer has said on a website is that midnight sun is not now going to ever be published so because of that, damn right im gonna read it. I think she should of thought bollox to the person who leaked it and still published it anyway!!! Like she said it was incomplete so us twilight junkies would of bought it and read it anyways whether it got leaked or not purely because we'd wanna read the final masterpiece.

i think tha twilight was a great movie but new moon was somehow depressing because its almost like nothing the book has. your books are amazing and the movies would be to if you did them like the books. its not interesting when you read something really really great then watch the opposite or dont even see half of the stuff that the book has,,,JUST PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE REST OF THE MOVIES JUST LIKE THE BOOKS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

I feel really bad now. About the stupid idoit who ruined the midnight sun book for us all so i hope HE/SHE BURNS IN HELL!!!! becuase i saw really looking foward to looking in Edwards head and now i can’t becuase no way and i reading it even if Stephaine did put up to chapter 12 on here web site. I feel sorry that she is up set but she made me laugh when i read the blog because she goes ‘James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn’t dovetail too well with the original story’. I think it would be really mean to read the leaked copy but then again Stephanie did put it on her web site and then again its her book and not finished and she was sad….. WHAT DO I DO. loads of my friends have read it and I want to but i don't want to cheat out on Stephanie Meyer because she is like killer (awsome for all you bunnies) and the best ever so I'm not going to read it and if Stephanie ever sees this then i think you should finish writing it and get it published and then everyone can enjoy it with out feeling bad. I think it’s ridiculous that people feel guilty for reading midnight sun. She put on her website that she put the link for her book in there so that people don’t feel guilty and she is fine with it. Thousands of books get leaked, I don’t see why she’s taking it so personally as if she’s more special, but she’s said in interviews that she’s over it, so stop being a baby and just read the damn book if you want to. I really don’t think it will make a difference to Stephenie if one insignificant little person reads it. She doesn’t care, the books been leaked, there’s nothing you can do, so just read it xxx

If someone posted that without Stephanie's permission, I wouldn't read it. . .If Stephanie Meyer posted this herself, than yea, I would read it. . . So who ever is calling people “heartless” for reading something STEPHANIE MEYER posted, knock it off. I'm sure you would read it too if you actually knew STEPHENIE MEYER posted this.

I think everyones overreacting, i've read the leaked chapters and they are brilliant! if anything its better getting a chance to read stephs original unedited work, i think its better that way. Yes its a shame someone leaked it but reading it doesnt make you a traitor just interested in seeing edwards perspective. quit being silly about it and just give it a read, if anything it will make you respect stephanie more because i guarantee you'll get hooked! stephanie should decide if she wants to finish it.

i don’t think she’ll ever finish it. she said she’s tired of vampires. but hey, somebody over in ireland found a website by a prof. writer who finished the whole story, 12 new chapters plus the epilogge, plus promises to write edward’s view of the honeymoon. check it out. i did and it’s reallly good.

I wouldn’t read it… I think that the rat was in the wrong… I would rather read it after it was published…. I am sad… But I’ll be keeping an eye out for updates…
