MONTEPULCIANO BREAKING NEWS: RED FLAGS AND FOUNTAIN UPDATE

Twilighters Italia has more breaking news from Montepulciano for us today. The red flags have been delivered to the filming site and the fountain has been painted. The city is ready for St. Marcus day!

Twilighters Italia has this to say:

“They’re preparing for Saint Marcus day!
Today a pickup loaded with red flags and ensigns was spotted in the main square, piazza grande. A few hours later all over the front of the city hall there were those flags pinned. Meanwhile the fountain is now almost finished and today it was painted with waterproof so now it seems a little more whitish!”

I love seeing pictures from Italy! It makes me so excited for New Moon. The red flags are really making it all seem so real. What a huge splash of color.

    I wonder if their going to use styraphome to shape the fountain? Movie sets do that, right? To get the realistic effect for much, much cheaper.

    I’m starting to get curious about how much their budget has grown. They have two of Alices 911 Turbos, bought, according to another web site. Their filming in Italy. God knows how much that cost to use the city for a week and now they have to CGI the wolves, LaPush and the cliff diving scene.

    What do you guys think? Can a director go over budget?

    My favorite color is red red and more red….
    Montepulciano is looking great, Sheryl , I also imagined the fountain to be a bit bigger, but they are not finished yet, so , we’ll have to wait to see .

    I also pictured the clock more like Big Ben, or at least the clock-face being more distinct.

    But, like Twilight Mom Australia said, they’re still doing stuffs.
