MONTEPULCIANO UPDATE: PREPARATIONS NEAR COMPLETE, ROBERT PATTINSON LANDS IN ITALY

Our friends at Twilighters Italia are back with another great Montepulciano update, and this one is an exciting one! We have some new pictures of the filming locations, some news about Robert Pattinson’s arrival, and more:

In the first picture you’ll notice the completed fountain that was just tested with water, and in the second picture you’ll see the municipal building of Montepulciano, just in front of Piazza Grande, which has recently been painted a dark red! Twilighters Italia is reporting that Robert Pattinson arrived this morning at Fiumicino airport in Rome at 12:30 and is already in Tuscany at the moment. They are also reporting that shooting will take place in the center of the city today, where Alice’s yellow Porsche was spotted earlier this morning.

So we have reports that one cast member has landed, hopefully we’ll start getting some cast pictures soon! It’s so cool that preparations are nearly completed and that soon, filming itself will be completed too. It went by so quickly, but I can’t wait to get some pictures/footage from the Italy scenes!

    I’m a mature adult woman. So why do I act like I’m 12 when I see this news? lol I’m squealing on the inside. It reminds me of Robs comments about “how many pictures of the same thing can they take?”. “Yeah, he’s still sitting”. hahaha Anything he does seems to be thrilling.

    So now it’s;

    Rob is leaving Cannes. (SQUEAL)
    Rob landed in Italy (SQUEAL)
    So one cast member has arrived in Italy! (SQUEAL)
    They will be filming today (SQUEAL)

    Hahaha, reminds me of random song I heard on the radio today;
    “God is great, Beer is good, People are crazy”. hahaha

    Once again, I’m getting the feeling that you and I are kindred. I’m at work thinking the exact same things. In fact, I just watched a facebook wall battle unfold between some of my other grown female friends…basically we’re arguing the points between Edward and Jacob. It makes this painfully slow Friday before Memorial Day seem just a little bit better to read tiny details like this.

    Although I wonder if I crossed a crazy line this morning at the eye doctor…I’m getting colored contacts instead of my clear ones, which I haven’t done since high school. Guess what color? If I don’t actually THINK I’m a vampire, I’m not certifiably insane, right?

    I totally understand your sentiment. I am also a grown adult woman and mother, and I feel like a giddy girl when I read or hear any Rob Pattinson or Twilight related news. Ridiculous! How did this happen?

    Everytime there is a New Moon update/pictures I literally start to cry. I’m grown 28 year old woman at work crying right now. I’ve cried at work at least 4 times this week. I bet my boss is starting to wonder if emotionally unstable. Is it November 20th yet?!?!?!

    Chris, Jen and everyone, why can’t we all live in the same town and get together every day and squeal together , can you imagine it grown women like us , intelligent mature women, should we know better, yes , do we CARE that we are totally and utterly Twisessed, Robsessed ? I scream” OF COURSE NOT” Rob and Twilight is our life now, our own brand of Heroin, we don’t have the strength to say away anymore, we are unconditionally and irrevocably in love….we are not crazy talking to our computer and tears rolling down our cheeks when we see yet another photo of Rob, another photo of the movie sets being build, and who would have ever thought that a photo of a Yellow Porsche and Red Flags, would send hearts a flutter all over the world… I love the sisterhood we have, cheers to us all I say….

    TwilightMomAustralia, YOU have said it all!!!!!I think the Moms have taken over!!! As myself included,I do wish we could meet somewhere and get all goopy together and see New Moon on opening night. I think I might have to go alone,bring a blanket,hide under it with my box of kleenex, and just loose control all by myself!!! How can I ever see this movie with someone else,unless you guys are there too?

    Is it just me or did anyone else imagine the fountain to be a lot bigger than what is being shown in these pictures ?? :/, don’t get me wrong; it still looks great, but I though it would have been bigger. xx

    Hi, It’s great to see that I’m not the only mature woman, who is also a mother, not the only one that feels this way. I thought I was going crazy. I am totally obsessed on the whole Twilight, Rob Pattinson thing. My life is consumed, when will this madness end?
