MONTEPULCIANO UPDATE: RED HOODS AND COMPLETED SET
We have another set update from our friends at Twilighters Italia. Extras have begun showing up in red, and the set looks about ready to start filming.
First we have a picture of some extras that were roaming around Montepulciano. They all have on red, t-shirts, cloaks, hoods or hats, but all of them have the bright red in common.

And then we have a picture of the set all sectioned off. It looks all ready to go!

There was a reported commotion on set today, and it is thought it was caused by a Robert Pattinson appearance, but no one is confirming or denying that. There are no pictures of Rob landing at the airport, as he was led through an employee door to exit.
The Porsche crew appears to be done working and Rob is expected on the set tomorrow. The rumor is Rob may be doing the scene where Edward is in complete desperation, waiting for the verdict from the Volturi. Today Alan Cappelli, the stunt double for Robert Pattinson, was waiting in his car, ready to be called to the set.

It is so exciting to see the extras start popping up in their red. I’d love to be in Italy, even just to feel the excitement as they film that huge scene that takes place in the Plaza during the St. Marcus Day celebration.
What do you think of these pictures? Have you liked what we’re seeing from Italy?
