The site Best Movies Ever has a great interview with the very funny, and very talented Noel Fisher. Here Noel talks about his latest projects including The Hatfields & McCoys, Shameless and of course his new role as Vladimir in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Read more below:

BME: ‘The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2’ fanbase is quite a departure from your television and film roles. Do you think this will open the door for more roles in these types of films like ‘The Hunger Games’?

NF: I haven’t put much thought into what kinds of doors the Twilight franchise will open. I am definitely a person who enjoys movies like The Hunger Games (I read all the books about three years ago) so I would love to be part of another big franchise like that. I think these types of films can offer actors the chance to play some really cool characters and help create these amazingly immersive worlds. I mean I get to play a 3000 year old bad ass vampire in Breaking Dawn! That’s rad! It’s like playing pretend when you were a kid…but with a multi-million dollar budget.

BME: Do you get to fight Bella and Edward in one of those scenes that could rival her over the top bloodbath birth?

NF: Absolutely! They haven’t released this info yet but part two of Breaking Dawn is gonna be nothing but a blood bath. We thought we’d just break away from the book entirely with the last installment. The Romanians are introduced, we kill the entire Cullen family along with the wolf pack and then the credits roll…kidding.

BME: What’s your one guilty pleasure reality show that you never miss?

NF: I’m not a reality show person. I can honestly say that I have never been addicted to any reality show I’ve seen. That being said, I must admit to being totally addicted to The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Those provide me with more than enough jaw dropping reality. Not that they need the bump but if anyone reading this hasn’t checked those two shows…you’re missing out!

Noel does such an incredible job with Mickey, I’m blown away that someone so young has such a huge range as an actor. Even though the movie is still months away yet, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 has landed at the #9 spot for HitFix’s Movie Power Rankings. Just what would make a movie this far out pop up on the list? Unfortunately we can’t say it’s a full length trailer quite yet, but those nice new HQ images featuring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward and Jacob were just enough to get the movie up on the list. Guri Weinberg Updates His Blog with More on Stephenie Meyer, ‘Twilight’ Fans and Life on the ‘Breaking Dawn’ Set

Guri Weinberg truly is a prince of a man, or at the very least he’s got to be in competition for the greatest sense of humor among the cast of the entire Twilight Saga. At this time Guri has once again decided to update is rather infamous blog, this time with what is was really like to spend time with Stephenie Meyer, more experiences with fantastic Twilight fans (and some scary ones), and a little peek into life on the set of Breaking Dawn. Check it all out below:

What’s it like working with Stephenie Meyer?

Stephenie’s success is just staggering and I am pretty sure many would and probably did feel intimidated around her. Here’s the secret about Stephenie that I accidentally discovered, though…she is normal. REALLY normal. And funny. But mostly normal…like the kind of person you’d hang out with. Just to shoot the shit.

At first, I was pretty shy…for me. And nervous – I met Stephenie AFTER I’d been cast when some of us were called down to Baton Rouge for a make-up/wardrobe test before shooting began. So, I didn’t know how she felt about me or my choices for Stefan. I mean, I know if she would have HATED my audition tape, I wouldn’t be there but you know, maybe she was just like “Eh…Guri…whatever…thank GOD we also got better actors…”

When I finally met her in Baton Rouge, I was already in costume and make-up. I shook her hand and she said, “You are EXACTLY how I pictured Stefan” and smiled. And I relaxed. Like a baby, actually. In fact, I wet my pants…not really. Okay, a little.

So, from that point on, we just clicked. We chatted a lot and some folks that hadn’t quite figured out the ‘normal’ part about her were speculating as to what she had to say and if there was any ‘Twilight’ secrets she shared. I actually had some folks come up to me asking, “What do you talk about?” So, as a public service, I would like to disclose one of our ‘top secret’ conversations now. I think the one that sums it up best is this story :

On set, there were different ‘video villages’ which are areas with monitors displaying different camera angles and chairs huddled around. It was a bit tense on set as we were behind schedule. However, I’m just an actor in a VERY silly mood and so I go find Stephenie…’cause her village was down like that.

“Guuuuurrrrriiiiii….how are ya?”

“Bothered, Stephenie.”

“What’s wrong?”, she asks, all sincerely.

“Where are the Jewish vampires, Stephenie? Not ONE Jewish vampire?!?”

She laughs. “Because it goes against everything Judaism is about, GURI.”

“I don’t think you’re seeing it. See, if there were some Jews in the vamp camp, we could sidestep all battles in favor of negotiation…plus, I think the vamp world needs a good kosher deli…”

Now, I notice Lily Collins there. She’s laughing at my stupid Jewish vampire joke, so I immediately like her. And to the fans that are trying to stir up competition between the two Snow White movies, IMHO, they are VERY different films, they BOTH look great and I am a fan of BOTH actresses.

Back to the day. So, Stephenie is telling me about ‘The Hunger Games’ and what a great book that is and then we discuss the sacrifices we will all be making that night, as shooting is going to go LATE. I mention that I am VERY distressed that I will be missing my new favorite show, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’. My wife’s agitated and colorful commentary after each episode is just nothing short of priceless. But, that night, alas…no RHOBH. Stephenie doesn’t even know the show and I’m aghast. Lily is also aghast. I look at Lily, who I now see is an incredibly astute young woman with FINE taste in reality television and we high five. We then describe the show to Stephenie by acting it out. She seems unimpressed by the show yet oddly adamant that we keep discussing our viewpoints about it with her. Oh! Right – and then Stephenie makes fun of me AD NAUSEUM for watching it. Not Lily, she got off scott-free for her allegiance to RHOBH. Just me. Whatever.

So, now everyone knows. Jewish vampires and the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are excellent examples of the scintillating, exclusive topics Stephenie and I discussed.

Josh Hutcherson of ‘The Hunger Games’ Thinks Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Will Take “Best Kiss”

VH1 is asking is if Twilight is no longer the most relevant movie out there now that the MTV Movie Awards are out and Breaking Dawn – Part 1 only picked up two nominations (compared to previous years). Here Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games weighs in on the “Best Kiss” category and why he thinks Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will win for Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Check it all out below:

Is this the dawn of a new era? The 2012 MTV Movie Awards nominations were announced today, and we’re not sure whether to be surprised about them: The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids lead the pack, with eight nominations apiece; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and 21 Jumpstreet follow with six nods each; and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is way down on the list with only two nominations. After so many years of Twilight mania ruling the show, does this mark the end of an era? Maybe. But it’s also pretty obviously the result of the nominees being chosen entirely by a panel of actors, producers and other insiders rather than by fans as it was last year, when Eclipse lead the pack with eight nods.

The MTV Movie Awards have just been announced today and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has been nominated for two awards. Breaking Dawn – Part 1′s nominations include “Movie of the Year” and “Best Kiss”. The two nominations is a huge change from past years where movies like Eclipse saw 8 nominations, New Moon with 4, and Twilight with 8 as well. The new voting system that I posted about on Saturday appears to have made a big impact for Twilighters. Read more below:

Yay! New stills from Breaking Dawn – Part 2! I think it’s probably just my wishful thinking on Renesmee, but I’m wondering if both scenes are focused around her. I think it’s possible that in two different scenes, first Bella and Edward, and then Jacob are all looking at Renesmee.

The always incredibly resourceful Frosty over at Collider took it upon himself to snap a picture of the 2012 Lionsgate Catalog while at the CinemaCon party for Lionsgate/Summit today. The catalog cover features scenes and characters from many of the films that they will be releasing this year, including a nice little picture of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as Edward and Bella in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, as well as a separate little shot of Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Teaser Poster for ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ Makes Appearance at CinemaCon

Last year we had our very first glimpse at the artwork for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 at CinemaCon (formorely known as ShoWest), in the form of a teaser poster for the movie. This year, once again, Collider is bringing us the first teaser poster for Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Now we’ve already seen some versions of this poster floating around online, and the official title treatment has been around since February. However this is our first really good chance to see the color being used along with that official date! Check out the poster below:

Almost a year ago, Summit Entertainment premiered the first promo poster for director Bill Condon‘s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. So it makes sense that at this year’s show, Summit would premiere the first poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. For those unaware, CinemaCon is a convention put on for theater owners in order to get a look at what the studios have to offer for the rest of the year, and where vendors can show new products for theaters to buy; it’s basically Comic-Con for theater owners. Besides showing off never before seen footage, the studios often bring the cast and the filmmakers. Over the course of a few days, Hollywood comes to Las Vegas.

While I’m sure Twilight fans would love to see a great photo of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner on the first poster, it’s just like last year in that it’s just the logo, the date, and info about the website on the bottom.

EW Visits the Set of “The Host’

EW.com was one of the news outlets lucky enough to visit the set of The Host. Here they give us a little sneak peek of the experience they had, and promise that there is much more to come. Read more below:

An hour outside of Albuquerque, N.M., on the rocky edge of a small, picturesque canyon, Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds) is squinting into the sun. She’s flanked by two sleek, silver sports cars, and her eyes are ringed with an eerie, iridescent circle. They’re both signs that Kruger is playing The Seeker — a dogged member of the police force of an alien species called Souls, who have successfully invaded our planet by literally invading our bodies. She’s looking for Wanderer (Hanna‘s Saoirse Ronan, pictured with costar Max Irons), a member of her race who, aptly, has wandered off into the desert after the consciousness of her human host, Melanie, cajoled Wanderer into finding what’s left of Melanie’s human family. The Seeker is also keenly set on finding this rag-tag cluster of the remains of humanity, but for very different reasons. “We find her,” Kruger (as The Seeker) mutters to herself, “we find the threat.”

Fans of Stephenie Meyer’s 600-plus-page novel have likely already gathered from the description above that film interpretation of The Seeker is almost the exact opposite of how she’s described in the book. Instead of small, dark-haired, and clad mostly in black, the very blonde Kruger stands regally on some serious wedge heels, dressed in a futuristic cream-colored pant suit. It’s a change designed by writer-director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, In Time) to reflect the “purity” of the egalitarian Souls, and Meyer told me on the set that she happily embraced it. Gattaca is her favorite sci-fi film of all time.

Bill Condon Gives Production Updates on ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′

Bill Condon, director of both The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2, has taken to the official Twilight Saga Facebook page to put some rumors to rest regarding re-shoots on Breaking Dawn – Part 2. It turns out that some technical work on the film is needed and some cast and crew will be going back, including Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Check out the full note from Bill below:

Hello Twihards!

Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.

A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.

I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…

I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!

New Still of Bella and Jacob’s Wedding Reception Dance in ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1′

Yes, I realize Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has been out on DVD here in the USA since February, but when I stumbled across this beautiful still from the movie’s wedding scene where Bella gets a dance with Jacob, I couldn’t resist posting it. I think the still perfectly captures that moment of peace Bella has when her long-lost friend reappears just in time at her wedding. Edward gives her a moment to just be with her friend (before of course he has to get all nosy and ruin the moment). Enjoy the still of Bella and Jacob below:

MTV Posts New Movie Poster for ‘The Host’ and Details for a Set Visit

MTV has the honor of debuting the very first teaser poster for the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s The Host. In addition they’re breaking the news that they’ll be going on a set visit to The Host and getting a chance to chat with the film stars as well as Stephenie Meyer herself. Check it all out below:

Yep, you read correctly: This Friday, MTV News will be headed to the seeeeecret secret location where alien parasite love story “The Host” is being filmed, where we’ll be delivering an exclusive behind-the-scenes missive from the set of this hotly anticipated sci-fi romance. And while we’re there, we’ll be chatting it up with Saoirse, Max and Stephenie—getting all the dirty details about how production is going so far, and asking them all your most burning-est questions about the film! It’s almost like the early days of Twilight when MTV was the only outlet that was always on the set, talking to the actors. It makes me all nostalgic for the early days of the Twilight Saga movies!

In addition to the Bella and Edward cottage scenes, and of course Nessie, I think the arm wrestling scene has got to be one of the most anticipated scenes from the book that we’ve yet to see. Bella and Emmett’s famous stand-off seems to be a favorite scene for a lot of us!

Marlane Barnes Talks ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ and Set Life with Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Irish Central has a great new interview with new vampire, Marlane Barnes, who will be playing Maggie from the Irish Coven in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Marlane chats about how nice Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were on the set and then gives us a little bit of detail on the backstory she imagined for Maggie in Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Read more below:

Barnes also discussed her role as vampire Maggie, a member of the Irish Coven.

“The Irish coven has seen and experienced a lot. Literature speaks to the Irish as a people who have a huge history of enduring and suffering oppression. They are also big on family, so I chose that Maggie had once come from a big family. Even though she doesn’t remember a lot of it, she has a lasting impression that it is something worth fighting for. So, I felt very strongly that she would be committed to helping the Cullen’s stay together and be very suspicious of any peace offering from the Volturi,” said Barnes, who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 with a Master of Fine Arts in acting.

“I also felt that she was newer to being a vampire than Siobahn and Liam. They had seen and been through even more as a pair. The Irish coven is definitely a brave and resolute group – they do what they came to do and then they make their exit!”

The muli-talented actress says she is also working on a young adult supernatural historical fiction book of her own about a girl in 5th century Ireland.

“The fact that I was cast as an Irish vampire after having already spent a lot of time learning about the culture was pretty amazing! Not to mention that my boyfriend’s family is from Eniskillen, Ireland. I think Ireland and I are not finished yet!” she added.

Behind-the-Scenes with the Wolf Pack and Tippett Studios

A new behind-the-scenes look at the wolf pack from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is making the rounds on the internet from the creative team over at Tippett Studio. This particular footage may partially look familiar from the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 DVD, but also contains some new material as it focuses on the creation of the scene where Jacob takes control as an Alpha in the pack. I kind of love behind-the-scenes glimpses overall, but I really find the ones that focus on CGI – like that used with the wolf pack – to be particularly fascinating. The CGI design teams have to design so much from scratch that it really is amazing to see all of the steps needed to bring it to life on screen.
