Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke discusses “New Moon” sequel and takes us behind-the-scenes of the hit vampire movie.
She’s an award-winning Indie director known for her gritty depiction of the young (i.e. Thirteen). But now, director Catherine Hardwicke has taken teen angst to a whole knew level – bringing the massively popular vamp novel “Twilight” to the big screen and setting the record for the largest box office opening by a female director with the film.With “Twilight” set to hit Irish cinemas Friday, Movies.ie spoke to Hardwicke about casting, budget problems and the now confirmed sequel “New Moon” (to be helmed by Chris Weitz)
LOL at Catherine’s 70 year old mother being excited to meet Rob. How funny is that? He even gets the older women excited.
I like the interviewer, he’s quite funny. This must be a bit older though because Catherine mentions not knowing about New Moon yet.
