MTV MOVIES BLOG: LOOK AT ALL THESE NEW MOON RUMORS….
MTV Movies Blog: Madonna Is Going To Be In ‘New Moon’ And I’ve Got Ocean-Front Property In Arizona For Sale.
There are three very important questions that have been plaguing my mind for the past few months: Will our economy get better by the time I’m 30? Should I rent an apartment in New York City? Which actors are going to play my favorite characters in “New Moon”?!OK, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit with that last one, but from the looks of it, I’m not the only one itching to find out who’ll get the chance to play a werewolf or a vampire in the eagerly anticipated flick.
Twilighters were up in arms when they heard the rumor that Vanessa Hudgens and Brenda Song were in contention for the role of Leah Clearwater. They all cried, “No Disney stars … EVER!” Vanessa is still hoping to nab the coveted role as Jacob’s fiesty frenemy, but as of now, it looks like neither will be playing the part (hooray!). Twilighters got to breathe easy for about 2.5 seconds until another actor or actress was rumored to be the next Leah, Jane or Aro.
There were some reports that seemed too nutty to be true. If you thought the whole Hudgens/Song rumor was crazy, just brace yourself. Have you heard any of these?
Lindsay Lohan wants to be in “New Moon”! Hilary Duff is clamoring to be a part of the second installment of the “Twilight” saga! “Lord of the Rings” star Sir Ian McKellan as Aro! “Harry Potter” wizard Alan Rickman as a member of the Volturi!
None of the rumors above can beat the mother of all rumors: Madonna is going to be in “New Moon”!
Don’t get me wrong; I love all this casting drama. As a fan of the book series and an overall impatient person, I’m dying to know who’s going to be in film and I want to know now!
In lieu of all the “New Moon” casting chatter, the wonderful “Twilight” team at MTV News put on their thinking caps and came up with a list of insane and completely unfounded rumors to rival some of the ones percolating on the Internet.
» Mickey Rourke is replacing Billie Burke as Charlie. Why? Because Mickey Rourke is awesome.
» Earlier this week the news broke that Governor Schwarzenegger was taking time off to do a film. Could this be a cover for a “New Moon” role? TOTALLY.
» There will be a new character named Stewart, Edward’s long-lost brother. Stewart will have equally awesome hair and will be played by Zac Efron.
» Brad Pitt’s old man version of Benjamin Button is going to play Aro.
» Daniel Radcliffe is going to replace Jackson Rathbone as Jasper. He’ll have his wizard stick handy in case Voldemort pops up to kill Edward

Alright ladies and gents - this is my challenge to you….What is the most ridiculous rumor you can make up about the New Moon movie? Come on, get creative, I want to read some hilariously funny absurd fake rumors that you can come up with.

Turns out, Melissa Rosenberg is rooting for the werewolf Jacob Black. In spite of the recent publication of the release date of “Eclipse”, the third book in the saga, an insider says the New Moon script is a little different than expected. A new twist in the story, one that Stephenie Meyer never intended: Edward isn’t going to survive. In fact, the way Melissa has written it, Bella doesn’t even get to Volturra until it is too late. This must mean that Eclipse is going to be about Bella getting over her loss, and Jacob, her TRUE love, helping her through it. If they go on to making Breaking Dawn, who knows, there could be a wedding and even little wolf children. But I highly doubt after this failure, there will even be a live person to write the screenplay for Eclipse.

OME I just had a great idea. What if all the volturi meal victums were Disney stars. That way they can have a part in a soon to be very popular movie, and twilighters won`t object. I shore don`t but maybe others will. I don`t know. But I can kind of see Alan Rickman as a member of the volturi.
And that rumor nearly gave me a heart attack

My rumor is …
that hilary swank will replace bella & leonardo dicaprio will replace edward in new moon. (that totally would not work! lol )
or better yet..Angelina Jolie could replace Bella and Brad Pitt could replace Edward (past experience being a vampire lol) and…Marilyn Manson could be Jacob(scary) ( a plus could be that Jolie/Pitt could use their kids as extras. bunch of kids in the movie budget saver,breaking dawn that is lol)
OMG when i first read the list i though that it was for real but then when i saw long lost brother i clued in!
So rumor has it that Bella is going to be replaced by none other than ME! Then Rob will fall helplessly in love with me (since he seems to do that with his costars). I will have to go into hiding and have a squad of body guards because all of the shameless Rob fans(I’m totally with ya’ll) will stalk and try to kill me. I also heard that in New Moon that Bella(me) gets tired of Jacob’s mood swings and pushes him off the cliff and then she accidentally falls in. So, then you must ask who saves her? Alice does, of course!

Rumor afloating that Paris Hilton wanted to be that lady with a rosary whom soon will be a meal for the Volturi!
Uhm… Natalie Portman will be Bella Swan in New Moon, as Robert Pattinson can’t take his eyes off her anymore

Here’s a rumor I always wanted to happen… Bella will be replaced by moi! And I turn into a vampire in New Moon and kill Jacob by biting his stupid head off and throwing him (and his head) off a cliff. I laugh in an evil way. But Edward will be proud I did that and he never broke up with me. And we lived happily ever after… THE END. Mwahahaha!

Tbh i really hope they dont have and disney stars in any of the twilight saga. i feel they just like to get in with whats popular at the time and i feel they will just outshine the original cast. who are amazing.

They are not casting AnnaLynn McCord as Heidi. That role is going to Angelina Jolie since she can pull off a better sex pot “bait”. She said she wanted to be part of the twilight series but didn’t have the time to devote to a big role. Also lending her hand will insure that more people go to see the film. True story.
Even though I hate the casting of big stars, Alan Rickman gives me goosebumps in a good way… But I know thats a rumor cause he has a full schedule the next 2 years.

Rumor has it George W., With the empty Schedule was trying to get the part as Marcus. Also, to save money they are just going to do the whole movie in fornt of a green screen. OH and they replaced NIkki Reed With MADONA!
Rumor has it that the director of New Moon is going to go with Stephenie Meyer’s alternate new moon book. Jacob will not come to ask for Bella’s forgiveness when he turns into a werewolf. It’s going to be totally different.

I second the motion of the Disney stars being the victoms in Volutra.
That would be sooooo awsome if Alan Rickman could play a Volturi member. He dosn’t seem right for Aro because Aro… peppy, I guess you could say. I wouldn’t want him to be Marcus because he has no lines, ever. (Though, in Twilight, Rosalie had no lines in the book but a few in the movie) I think he woulf be a great Caius. But I shouldn’t get my hopes up — it’s just a rumor.
As for the other rumors, my heart nearly stopped, thinking that they were true. Let’s keep them at the rumor-status, OK, Summit?

i flat out dont like strewart.. she trys to be too much like rob with the whole. “I onyl do roles that challenge me.” Like seriously.. all roles must be challenge for the girl cuz she cant act! always so twitchy.. reminds me of an addict that hasnt had her fix. I think KStew COULD be a good actress if she ever took on any roles that were different. Everything she has done has been some teenage in the middle of drama gotta freak out now type roll. And the twitchy thing, yeah I picked up on that. I noticed once during the hospital scene she blinks her eyes so fast all you see is the motion waves behind her lids…. creepy!

Rumour: Governer Swarzy is taking time off for a film role… He’s going to be a guard in the Volturi. Fully equipped, in case the Terminators show up.
Rumour: Alex = Zac Efron (funny; he’d probably make a good vampire if he wasn’t so famous)
Rumour: There’s a strong case of laryngitis going around Vancouver, so Summit have prepared voice actors to take over just in case any of the cast get it.
