MTV: VOTE FOR ‘TWILIGHT’ IN THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS

I think you should add the Best song -category as well, Paramore got nominated for Decode on Twilight…

Voted for all things Twilight, though have to admit that RP won me over on Best Breakthrough Male… There just wasn’t enough of TL to call it a breakthrough performance, his will be New Moon.

Yes, I have voted for all the Twilight catagories. I hate it that Taylor is up against Rob. I though Taylor’s performance as an embarrassed teen was so good. But, he had so little screen time. It just isn’t a comparison. I voted for Rob.

I had hoped the kiss(s) in the gazebo would be in contention but I guess they were too tame. Sigh. Not that the kiss in Bella’s bedroom is a slacker!

I hope they win everything.

Is anyone else having trouble with that voting site? It doesn’t seem to be working.

I voted all Twilight too. And I voted for Rob… I was babysitting yesterday and so when I put the kids to bed I watched this MTV award recap from the last years and they showed Johnny Depp go up to get an award and all I think was… That is going to be Rob someday. And hopefully that day is soon.

I couldn’t bring myself to vote for this movie because there are a lot of better ones to vote for. I loved the twilight books but come on guys the movie really sucked. The directing was bad, the acting worse. And they threw in stuff that wasn’t in the books and didn’t even make sense. Like the very last scene when Victoria is at the prom with him? Alice could have seen that and Edward would have heard her thoughts and they would all be able to pick up her scent. Kristen Stewart was laughable with her akward “performance” with all the lip biting. It looked like she was in pain through the entire movie. Twilight doesn’t deserve to win anything. Especially if your just voting because it has the name “Twilight”.

I vote for Taylor! I think, he deserve’s it!
He is working so hard to do the next film of Steph’s Saga, that I think an injustice if he don’t won’s… but, it’s my opinion… u.u

I voted all twilight as well, and for Rob, because I agree, there just really wasn’t enough taylor for the “breakthrough” performance… I admit, when I heard taylor had gotten cast for twilight, I wasn’t convinced he’d keep up with the part… I hate when they have to recast for a sequel, (all i’d known him from was shark boy, lol) but I can’t wait to see how he does for NM… it’ll either make the series, or break it… I’m leaning towards making though!!!

Honestly I totally agree with Lily… I think the only reason people are voting for the movie is because of the books. All in all the movie was terrible!! The acting was just stupid… I’m not sure why anyone would choose KS as Bella… that just blows my mind. I can’t comment on the Cullen family or on any of the other characters because they barely said 2 words. RP was OK. He’s not as great as everyone makes him seem or as hot as everyone thinks. C’mon people we all know that there are better movies and MUCH BETTER actors out there! I love the books, I really do but the movie just ruined it all for me.

Lily – The movie was very well made, I’m sorry that you don’t appreciate it as much as the books…but everyone has their own likes and dislikes. If the movie weren’t so loved, it wouldn’t have made almost $400 million dollars worldwide and sold over 3 million DVD’s on the first day.

I’ll admit that I originally went to the movie because I love the books so much…but the love for the movie is what brought me back time and again to see it in the movie theater.

Just keep trying to sign up…I tried when it was time to vote just to get the nominees narrowed down & couldn’t do it. Finally today I was able to sign up & voted! Yeah, it let me do it if I went to mtv.com instead of following the link from TA. I’m so excited for this year’s awards!

Keep on trying….it took me three time before I realized i had to type new security code (or whatever the numbers on the bottom are called) and password each different time. Plus the url I kept trying was taken so had to keep looking for one that wasnt taken. Good Luck and I hope twilight wins!
