MUSIC MONDAYS: SHOULD THIS SONG BE ON THE ‘ECLIPSE’ SOUNDTRACK?
Welcome to the ninth edition of “Music Mondays”! Every week we will bring you a fan suggestion for the Eclipse soundtrack. Let us know what you think of the song, and send us your ideas!
This week we have I’ll Be by Edwin McCainSarah sends us this week’s song for the Eclipse soundtrack. I know it might seem a little bit over the top, yet I love this song for Bella and Edward. I can see it perhaps around the proposal scene?
Sample of lyrics include:
“And rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed.
You’re my survival, you’re my living proof.
My love is alive — not dead.
Tell me that we belong together.
Dress it up with the trappings of love.
I’ll be captivated,
I’ll hang from your lips,
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from aboveAnd I’ve dropped out, I’ve burned up, I’ve fought my way back from the dead.
I’ve tuned in, turned on, remembered the things that you said”
(Thanks Sarah!)
