MUTEMATH: “SPOTLIGHT” PERFORMANCE ON JAY LENO

Posted January 20th, 2009 By: Team Switzerland 7 Comments »

For those of you who missed the amazing Mutemath performance of “Spotlight” on Jay Leno a few days ago, have no fear! Just a little reminder for those of you who don’t know – “Spotlight” is featured on the ‘Twilight’ movie soundtrack, and is also featured in the scene where Bella and Edward arrive at school together for the first time.

(Thanks to Jordan for the video!)

And in case you’ve forgotten, Mutemath and TA have teamed up to bring you a great little contest! To read all the details on it, click here.

I love Mutemath, and I actually forced myself to stay up late to watch this! “Spotlight” is one of my favorite songs off the soundtrack, and Mutemath showed that they are awesome live as well.

What did you think of this performance? Did you stay up to watch this on Jay Leno?

This is a pretty good video! I personally like the song recorded better, but they still did a very good job! This is one of my most favorite songs on the soundtrack :)

Thank you for posting the video! I wasn’t able to watch it!

Their drummer is AMAZING! He used his “jazz” set so diversly! I’m impressed! I also love that they clapped their hands in the song rather than use an synthesized version!

I think I’m gonna have to download their album!
