Robert Pattinson reveals Twilight DVD extras

He told fan site robertpattinsonoline: “There’s quite a lot of stuff. We fought the big fight scene at the end within the first week, and I was really convinced that the way I established the character arc that Edward needed to be 100 percent demonic in the last fight. “The monster”, which he always says he is to Bella, I wanted him to become that at the end.

“I kind of psyched myself up a week to do this nuts fight. As soon as I started doing it I don’t think anyone expected me to do it like that so they were like, “Uh, tone it down.” I had maybe thirteen takes where my direction was “tone it down,” on every single take.

“I had no idea what was going on. I would love to see what the first take was, especially after seeing the final thing with one bit of the fight with me and Cam. Where we were growling at each other, where we both were really into it like we were vampires.

“When we watched the playback afterwards, there was a big bright light and we didn’t realize, we thought it was kind of dark and you could just see these two guys, one with a bouffant hair cut and the other with his abs just there like “Argh!”

He added: “It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I hope that’s on the DVD, it’s quite funny.

I hope that is on the DVD too, it sounds cool. I’d like to see two guys with bouffant hair fighting. Would you like to see this extra footage added to the DVD? or are there other scenes you hope to see instead?

I hope they have ‘making of’ scenes and bloopers. I like to see the other side of filming too.

I cant wait for bloopers! Rob is so funny…they all are come to think of it. I too hope to see the casting, doubt that’ll happen, but lets keep our fingers crossed.

He pretty much describes the final fight scene as it is in the final cut. It was pretty ridiculous looking. Sorry. Liked the film, but the action sequences left much to be desired. This is where I think Weitz will pick up the slack.

I heard they filmed a small midnightsun scene and it’s gonna be on there!!!
My friends and I are going to have a party to celebrate the release of the DVD and where all going to sit around the TV and watch the midnight sun scene and bloopers and extras AND the movie as soon as it’s midnight! Can’t wait! LOL! (We might even dress up!!)

I really hope they have the blooper of the kissing scene where Rob loses control and falls off the bed. That sounds hilarious.

Make it a 3-disc special edition, with one disc filled with every blooper and deleted scenes. I love watching bloopers, specially when it happens during a dramatic scene, when everyone is in such an intense and serious mood and a blooper ruins the scene in a way that causes everyone to break out in boisterious laughter LOVE those!
