For this song, close your eyes. Imagine Bella, desperate to hear Edward’s voice climbing up the cliffs in La Push, standing there at the top and taking that plunge off the top.

One song i would like in this scene might be “crystal” by Stevie Nicks. So beautiful but sad at the same time…. a flashback song i think

If an upbeat-of-sorts song is what you want though, i think “Hoppipolla” by Sigor Ros would be a great choice… Have you heard the piano? The music has incredible build up too! very climactic in my opinion! If you get a chance, have a listen…..

It’s good song, but it’s so slow, I almost fell asleep listening to it.

I agree with Jenny, Bella has all those imotions at once. and this song had been perfect if she would have died, but she didn’t !

i think this song is perfect for that scene in the movie. This song fits it perfectly. The song fits Bella’s need to see Edwards face again, its the most perfect song because she needs to see his face.

I think it is a beautiful song. This song fits perfect with when bella is fighting to stay above the water after she jumps off the cliff in new moon. She sees Edward in her head once she hits the water and realizes how strong the current is. He is telling her to keep fighting.

I think it is a really great song but it should be use when they are showing how much time passed between when Edward left and when she finally “Wakes up”. Its much too slow for anything eles.

The song is great, but I’m with the people who are unsure about that being the right place in the film for it. I think that scene requires something a little more intense-sounding.

As for my own suggestion, I would never ACTUALLY want this on the soundtrack, but I heard a song today that I can’t help but think is exactly how Jacob thinks and feels in New Moon — “More Than That” by the Backstreet Boys. Keep in mind I was being nostalgic; don’t make fun of me! And can anyone really say that’s not dead-on for Jacob’s feelings toward Bella??

I definitley think it should be on thee soundtrack and in the movie but not for that specific part. a song for that scene would be “Going Under” by Evanescence. Its perfect for that scene. But i do luv “storm” for new moon

maybe this song could work. but i think its too slow. i think songs like love story by taylor swift are brilliant for like when edward is leaving and after he is gone, have a listen to it you may like it. and aslo i no they wont put a miley cyrus song in the movie, but i think that her song ‘i miss you’ fits perfectly like when it says ‘i miss your smile’, cos bella always says about how she loves his crooked smile, and it says ‘i still shed a tear every once in a while, and even though its different now, your still here somehow’, like hes there, somehow when she hears his voice. have a listen, and leona lewis’ ‘better in time’ is a nice song for the movie. cos edward tells her it will all get better in time. and the song like says ‘its been the longest winter without you, didnt know where to turn to, somehow i cant forget you after all that we’ve been through.’ and theres like another bit where it says, ‘gonna smile cos i deserve too and that could be like when she gets back to her old self again with jacob. sorry 4 leavin such a long comment, anyway hope i may be of some help. good luck. byexxxxxx

I have mixed feelings about this song… it’s really pretty and matches what bella is going through but might be a little too slow for that scene… if its in it cool but if not nothing to cry about…

I waz a little sketchy at the beginning but then I saw that it waz absolutley perfect for that exact scene! I hope they pick thiz and I reely hope to see it in New Moon!

I don’t mean to bust anyones bubblez…but I have a feeling that the director is going to go w/ an “epic instrumental” throughout the movie… weaving it in and out of certain scenes… And he will probably only have one or two “main” songs probably by a mainstream artist(s)…possibly written just for New Moon reoccuring throughout the movie. I WISH alot of these songs would be in the movie, but I just don’t see it happening at all. (I’ve got everyone of the songs suggested here on my mp3…plus many more that go along perfectly w/ New Moon!) I’m just wondering who the lucky band…or singer…is gonna be. I gotta say I think Blue October is gonna be on the soundtrack for sure. Stephanie Meyer is probably fighting tooth and nail for them to be on the soundtrack. Do you think Kings of Leon maybe also????
