With all that remorse in Edward’s eyes, my bet would be post Italy, amazing how these two can talk just with their eyes.

I think this is the scene where Bella wakes up from being in Italy, and she wakes up and Edward’s there and she thinks it’s an hallucination of him.

From looking at the photo, I think the scene occurs post-Italy. I didn’t notice any injuries to Bella’s right arm and I think that indicates the scene had to have happened after she had healed. Edward leaves right after Bella’s party so…I think it shows them after their return from Italy. But that’s just me…LOVE the scene, btw.

I say its post Italy when Edward is trying to convince Bell she’s not dreaming and he’s really here with her. But heck I don’t know the script. ^_^

I too think it’s post Italy, in Bella’s bedroom, and yes, they have such chemistry, Chris is right, no words are needed to get the feeling of sorrow. Such a remorseful look in Edwards eyes. Theses two are so good, it’s almost embarrassing to be looking at them. It’s like we are invading a very private moment.
The emotions these still photo’s project, just think of what we’ll be feeling while watching the movie, the full scenes… OME.

Looks like post Italy to me like others said. She looks a little confused and he looks like he is very upset but somehow happy at the same time. And like someone else said she has not bandage at least we can’t see it since it was on her right arm we might just not be able to see it. I don’t think its a dream though I figured the dreams would be more like out in the woods or something like that.

I am not sure where it fits. She is in a dress with spaghetti straps. Her hair is up in a clip on the side. When she is post Italy, she isn’t in a dress. She is in pants. This must be early on in the movie.

JUST IMAGINE WHEN YOU SEE THE FULL SCENE INSTEAD OF A STILL.

Chelle: You are right they are able to convey so much with their eyes. And it is really a trick as we can’t see their eyes. I think you have to add in body language to that mix.

I hope everyone is correct, that this is post-Italy. To me, their time in Bella’s bedroom, with Edward trying to convince her she is awake and apologize, AND express to her how much he loves her. OMG, it is some of the most potent lines/actions/feelings in the entire book. I would rate this scene up there with Bella rescuing Edward in the plaza.

I wonder if any movie theatres will contract with EMS services when this movie first opens? It’s a thought!

ok I really think its after the party…before you start saying that i am stupid, remember in the book she takes off the bandage because she doesn’t like being weak. But she could always change into her pajamas which could be that shirt! Also Edward is wearing black which doesn’t mean anything but it makes me think of the suit he’s wearing from the party. I don’t think its post-Italy-reason why:
if Bella had just woken up after not sleeping in days, she would’nt look that good and refreshed and her hair certainly wouldn’t be done up after waking up with bed head
Second-Edward’s eyes are golden, I thought he stayed with Bella the whole time she was sleeping after they get back from Italy and therefore wouldn’t have gone hunting but then again he could’ve gone home while she was sleeping and done his chowing. At any rate, I think this is one of the scenes before the birthday, maybe the day before when they are in her room talking about whatever. I agree that it is not after the party cuz the bandage isn’t there and the hair and clothes don’t match her party outfit-definately think its day before bday and that she’s in her “new pj’s” she bought to re-place the holey shirt and sweats.

Also the ring she is wearing is not a engagement ring its just a ring. It is on her right hand pointer finger not on her left ring finger. Plus Edward doesn’t even give her a ring until the middle of Eclipse.

I’m getting all confused about the ring thing, I see no ring except for her pointer finger and that’s the one she’s always worn, and when did Edward give her a ring in NM? There’s no ring until Eclipse… but it’s fun guessing, guess we’ll find out in 71 days, is it?

Chelle is right, there wasn’t a ring until Eclipse. I hope they didn’t change such a major detail. I mean he gave her his mother’s ring! For him to hold it all this time is significant. Besides, Edward’s vamp eyesight is in trouble if that is the finger he puts an engagement ring on. As for her hair not being messed up enough, how can you tell? This is a movie. She isn’t going to be too rumpled no matter what.

so, just by looking at this picture, i can totally tell that new moon will be better than twilight. not that twilight was bad, but their emotions just seem more natural, less forced in this picture and the other stills from the movie. i already know that i am going to cry at least like 4 times in the movie.
1-when edward leaves……and for awhile afterwords
2-when alice comes back, its not sad, but i cry at that part in the book everytime.
3-in italy when edward is stepping out into the sun and he sees bella and thinks that hes dead and is all “wow, carlilse was right…..” and that whole part in general through the flight.
4-when they are back in forks until the end……..

i have been in love with these books scince about 2005, and yes the people that just started obsessing over them a month or two before the movie came out and make twilight fans seem almost as annoying as jonas brothers or hannah montanna fans annoy me!
i can’t wait! and this picture is amazing! this is definately in her room after Italy, you can tell in his eyes……and by the way, is it just me, or does rob look even MORE gorgeous in this movie?

And Maddiegrace I’m also very annoyed by the people who just like Twilight for the movies. I didn’t read the books till after I saw the first movie, but I read them within 4 and a half days. I was hooked lol I have since then read them all two more times and am re-reading New Moon again cause I need a fix after all this looking up info about the movie lol I wish people who haven’t read the book wouldn’t try to tell people who have when things did and did not happen, highly annoying.
