NEW MOON: PICK YOUR DREAM CAST WINNERS (PART 1)

Alright ladies and gentlemen – you nominated and voted, and now the winners of part 1 of our New Moon: Pick Your Dream Cast have been chosen. To refresh your memory, I’ve included the three nominees for each character, as well as the winner that was chosen by YOUR votes!

So without further ado, here is part one of YOUR New Moon Dream Cast:

Okay! So this concludes part one of our New Moon: Pick Your Dream Cast project. What do you think of the cast that was chosen? Do you have someone else in mind who would have fit a specific character better?

    This is definately DREAM casting because well to me they all look so perfect, especially the girl casted as Jane. But let’s be honest, God knows I love me some Johnny Depp but he alone would break the entire movie budget.

    Well, i think that oliver james should be one of the werewolves, i think he could deffiantly pull off the role, anyone agree? btw, the ‘dream’ cast is just about perfect maybe no so many big actors though.

    I think that freddie highmore would be a good alec but for jane she needs to be an actress that hasn’t been dicovered yet someone who is devoted to acting not being on screen or any of that crap someone who wants to be jane because they are a head on actress that is trying to do her best at making her self act like jane and practically become jane some one who’s in it for the acting and fun and not the fame or the money someone who is acting and wants to do it for life that is 1,000,000,000,………percent in it and does the best they can because they want to bring the character of jane to life to be able to show people jane

    I think Jodelle Ferland is PERFECT for the role of Jane!!!!!!!!!!! When i read new moon (and re-read it three times) i kept on getting a picture of Jodelle in my head. Her hair and face is like totally what i pictured!!!!! I really hope she get’s the part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i thinck jodelle ferland would be good as jane but she might have to cut her hair shorter and dye it lighter cuz in the book new moon it says she has a her hair cut short and light brown hair and shes in the age range of 13 to 16 same with alec

    Johnny Depp is this a comedy? NO! I don’t want no will known actors in this movie they cost to much for one and two they ruin the movie because they want to be in every scene!

    I love the choices for Jane and Alec, but there’s a huge problem in casting them… kids grow… quickly. They are supposed to be immortal so if it takes 2 or 3 years to film the final 3 movies (all of which contain Jane and 2/3 with Alec) chances are that they are going to have to recast or they will have to choose older actors that look extremely young/are short.

    I love the idea of Paul Bettany as Caius! Even though I love Viggo (YUM) and Johnny (Perfection), I just don’t see them as Marcus and Aro. I think Cillian would do a better “beautiful & bored” Marcus and ever since I read the book, I’ve always pictured an actor by the name of JOEL SWETOW in my mind (see pictures on IMDb). He just looks like the Italian “friendly yet calculating” Aro to me…

    I love the choices for Jane and Alec too!

    I missed part 1. I would have nominated Tom Sturridge for a part. It would be fun to see Robert and his best friend in the same movie.

    Viggo seems okay for Marcus.
    Paul Bettany seems good as Caius.
    Johnny Depp cant be Aro!
    And Jane should be Ellen Page. Maybe
    Freddie is too young.
    James McEvoy would be good for Felix.

    the dream cast for Caius, Marcus, Demetri, and Jane can’t get ANY BETTER. I dont think Johnny Depp would be a good Aro, or Jensen Ackles for Felix, though..but like it says, its DREAM casting.
    I’m really interested in seeing Harry Clearwater’s actor!
    Seriously, can they get a better Caius?!

    These look great! I agree with pretty much all of these! Jensen Ackles wasn’t someone that I would have chosen for the role of Felix, but it could work.
    I think that Jodelle and Freddie would make a great pair as Jane and Alec.

    Wow. I actually really like those choices. Never thought of them myself but I can really see them as those characters…especially Paul, Freddie and Jodelle.
    I wonder how much it would take to get the likes of Viggo, Johnny, Paul and Jensen on board haha.

    Wow, ‘Jane’ was totally right. I reckon Jason Isaacs should be Aro.. I completely agree with the choice for Jane, but not for Alec.

    okay im so happy that Ben Barnes might be casted as Demetri and all, but I REALLY think that he would better fit the part as Jacob. But as long as he’s in the movie thats fine(: and im so excited to see Johnny Depp as Aro!! (: this is definintley a good cast, and is going to be a great movie!

    OMG!!! Jodelle Ferland is the PERFECT “Jane”. When I saw her picture after reading New Moon, I immediately saw her as Jane. When I re-read the series again, her face is the one I saw. Summit and Chris better give this girl a good look. Dakota is too well know for these movies. She will take away from the story!!!! Jodelle, Jodelle, Jodelle!!!!!!

    Johnny Depp as Aro, is BS. I’m in love with Johnny Depp but it would kill the movie completely if they cast him as Aro. I think Dakota Fanning and Lucas Gabreel should be Jane and Alec rather than the choices you have. Honestly I think your choices are **** for the movie.

    Really think that Jodelle Ferland has the malice look in her …..but taking in account all the requires ..I´ll say that Dakota could manage to have s Very creepy–malice look for New Moon ….Can´t wait till´November!!

    I LOVE the real movie so why would anyone change who the cast is? I don’t think Dakota Fanning should play Jane but the guy who plays Alec is perfect.Jodelle Ferland is PERFECT to play Jane!!!! Idk why they didn’t cast Jodelle.
