‘NEW MOON’: PICTURES OF BELLA’S HOUSE
The people at Twilight-Gossip were not only lucky enough to get a sneak peek at Bella’s house, but they’ve gotten some great pictures as well! Since filming is in Vancouver this time around, the movie crew was forced to rebuild the house, which looks amazing:

I was worried a bit about the continuity of the film when they moved from Oregon to Vancouver, but I know that director Chris Weitz is committed to making New Moon as successful as possible and that the crew will go to all lengths to make things fit together with Twilight. Seeing pictures of Bella’s house just cements that for me. It looks so good and I can’t wait to see it on film.
What do you think of these pictures? Do they ease your worries at all regarding the continuity of the film?

Mmmm… it does look good. I’m still super worried about the differences between ‘New Moon’ and ‘Twilight’ due to the director change… this does give me hope though!

It does look the same. That’s great. But I have never seen an answer as to why they actually changed the filming location from Oregon/Washington to Vancouver. Anyone know the answer?
Man, I’m DYING to see how they do the “Cullen” house for this movie!! Are they going to have to re-build that one too???And btw, I JUST got the location of where the “Cullens” house is here in Oregon!! I’m going to go check it out this weekend!! And the owners who live in it give TOURS!! YAY!!
Don’t get me wrong, I think the house looks great but with such a limited budget, why waste the money to rebuild a house when the same one is in Oregon?

OK, I got out my Twilight Movie Companion book and compared. It’s pretty close. But they need to add some moss to those tree trunks.
i agree with jessica,im a little worried about the director change.Because Catherine did SUCH a wonderful job with twilight.But I hope that Chris can really deliver the same effect!

Just to let some people know, we went to the house in Oregon and they do not give tours away, the man who lives in it actually has a sign posted on the tree in front saying “PLEASE do not come anywhere near the door or windows, do not peer inside”, he lets you take pics from the road but not upclose. It was amazing though!! In the same town you can see more than just Bellas house!! Check out downtown and you will see TONS of stuff from the movie!! So cool!! OMG!!! i hate it! they should hav kept the one in Oregon. it was so much better. this house has so many differences. There is a down hill driveway, wheres charlies spot, um… where is edaward going to park,and i just dont like it.
This is just the first of many differences I think are yet to come. I also have to admit I’m a little worried about the director change. After watching the trailer on MTV it feels like it may have lost that indie edge that I loved so much about the first one. Everything seemed so polished, even the acting. There was no raw feel to it, which is what sold me with Twilight. I’m also reminded how poorly Chris Weitz film, “The Golden Compass” did when it was suppose to be a box office hit. Let’s just hope he doesn’t stray too far away from Catherine’s lead.
Im a fan of the book, and when i first saw twilight i will admit i was disapointed somewhat. for the most part, it was the same idea, but the book was better. And after i saw the new moon trailer, it doesnt look like its going to be any better. Though i still hope im wrong, and its amazing, but it still looks like its not going to do the book justice.
question does anyone know ehere this house is located in vancouver? a friend of mine is going to vancouver in 2 weeks and she is a big fan of twilight and would love to see the house. does anyone know an address or a street name or place it is close to?
