‘NEW MOON’ MOVIE SOUNDTRACK: RELEASE DATE SET

Thanks to our friends over at Twilighters.org, we have pictures of a New Moon card being handed out at Comic Con 2009 which states the release date, not only for the movie itself, but for the soundtrack! The much anticipated date? October 13th. Check out the card below:
I’m so excited for this! It’s nice to get a firm release date, and I can’t wait to hear more about the New Moon soundtrack. I’m still crossing my fingers for certain bands and songs to be on there!
Are you pleased with this release date? From what we’ve heard, do you think the soundtrack is shaping up nicely? Which artist/song are you most hoping will be on the soundtrack?

Do we know yet who all is on the New Moon soundtrack? I can’t wait for it as I loved the Twilight soundtrack. I’ve about warn it out. lol. But I really want Hanna Pestle’s Need on there. I keep praying.

I’m guessing that this is the release date in the U.S but when will it come out in the uk?
That gives us plenty of time to memorize all the songs and guess where they may be incorporated in the movie. I can’t wait.

I normally don’t comment but seen Candace’s comment and have to add that she would be perfect for the New Moon soundtrack. Love, love her songs & she has an amazing voice and the songs that she has wrote are written perfectly for the Twilight Saga!!
