‘NEW MOON’ THEATRICAL TRAILER - 14 SECOND PREVIEW

All weekend long, you can catch a brand new, exclusive, full-length theatrical trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon in front of showings for the brand new film Bandslam, which hits theaters Friday. Well, we’ve been waiting a long time and only have a few days left, but we’re being rewarded a little bit early with a 14-second preview of the trailer that we can see in its entirety this weekend. My voice unintentionally got very high pitched and squeaky when the clip started lol. Uh, I hope we are going to see the full-length trailer eventually without seeing Bandslam. I’m very busy with work for the next month or two and don’t really have the time to go watch some mediocre movie with the cast of the Disney channel. Looks like I’ll be sneaking into watch this at the movie theater this weekend. Not going to watch Band Slam, but I should be able to time it so I can catch this and another movie I’d rather see.

I love Bella and Jacob, and Kristen and Taylor. But, I am hoping that this being such a short clip is the reason that I felt no heat from this scene. I love Taylor with the long hair, even though he is eye-popping cute with it short. I just can’t get much from this flash-look at a scene.
Yes, his award winning eight-pack looks wonderful enough to be in a support role of it’s own, but, I want passion from Jacob’s eyes. I want emotion that translates to body language that transcends his uber-buff physique. I didn’t get that here.
So, Summit, either edit your clips-as-bait a little better, or don’t release them at all. This movie is about passion, and love, and pain. So, where is it?
What is ridiculous idea…making the public go see Band Slam just to watch a trailer for NM. Why didn’t Summit release the trailer on ET so the entire public could watch it? The 14 seconds was kind of disappointing. At least with Twilight they showed a full trailer to keep our interesting burning. Is this suppose to keep our anticipation high? We still have three months to wait for NM, are they going to show 14 seconds every now and then? I won’t be seeing Band Slam just to see the trailer…..
Looks good! I had hoped to see the Volturi or something, maybe that will be included in the full length trailer?? Like several people have said above, I’m not going to go spend my money on Bandslam just to catch this trailer…youtube will have it up in no time! Plus I would hope that they would put the trailer on the official New Moon movie website.
I really wanna see the whole thing… but yeah, torturing myself and wasting money by seeing Bandslam… not for me. Why couldn’t they put it before a movie we’d actually want to see? We’re not all 13 year olds infatuated with the Jonas Brothers type people!

OOHHH nnnoo, although I know what is going to happen in this book/movie, and things all work out and Edward comes back, it’s like I don’t want to see what Bella goes through…. but at the same time I want to see it. Her face… when Jacob tells her “I know what he did to you”…aaaahhh it’s hard for me to see Jacob try to get close to Bella, no …don’t like it. It looks like it will be painful for us to watch.

Kristen ooks much better in this movie! I mean look at the expressions/emotions on her face, they’re just perfect! And Taylor Lautner is sooo cute as well in this, the shirtless seen made me want to scream =D =D…this director has not let me down at all!!!!

LMAO on comment #5. Need more cowbell! Priceless… I would not waste my money on a lame movie like Bandslam just to see a preview. Considering it’s probably the preview they showed at Comic-Con which we’ve all watched a thousand times thanks to a rockin fan and You tube.

Sorry, Rebecca from Greece, but there is NOTHING that will make me fall for Jacob. I am Team Edward through and through. LOL I do think Taylor Lautner makes a great Jacob, though.

I guess since I’ve seen most of that scene already, I enjoyed this short clip more than most of you, but everything I have seen so far is amazing. Chris has done a fantastic job with this movie…I really hope they talk him into directing Breaking Dawn.

I agree that it should be longer, we have a bit to wait for Nov. I will not see the movie for the trailer. Hopefully they put it on the New Moon movie site the way they did Twilight.

I can’t wait but what the hell is going on at 0:08 seconds?! It looks like they messed Jacob up bad. His head is too forward and detached and his arm is blended into his body. I hope they didn’t computerize all his body like this.

If you are seriously uninterested in BANDSLAM (which I am sure most are…) You can find a movie that plays close to that one, get tickets for that one and slip into BANDLSAM for the previews and then slip out for the other movie…we have done that more than once just to see a preview that preceeded a movie we had no desire to see…plus, most theaters will give you a refund if you come out and ask for your money back within the first 30 minutes of a movie if you ask and explain to them that you absolutely hate it and do not want to see the rest. We did that for YEAR ONE (it was AWFUL!)
I really loved the 14 second sneak peek, but that might be because I’m Team Jacob.

Ok, kinda random but does any one know if Kristen’s hair is going to change back to her Bella hair before Eclipse. It looked like the Joan Jett hair at the awards last night and I started to worry. That hair is not exceptable for a twilight, no affence.

What does Bella say right at the end, before Jacob nods and it switches to “The Twilight Saga New Moon”?
I’ve been replaying it over and over but still don’t quite understand it.
I can make out something like, “I’m sorry you’re beautiful” but that’s just weird, I’m sure Bella would never say that.
I was hoping for something we’ve never seen before, but hey I’ll take what I can get! More impatient then ever!

Wait a minute. Does anyone else think this is the ending of the trailer? Because the 2 second title is included in the 14 seconds. And the music kinda of sounds like it. That can’t be the end of it! A trailer’s ending is suppose to be intense, that was not intense. Jeez, now I am going to be worrying that this is going to be a bad trailer for the rest of the week. I’m panicing but i’m excited.

It is not fair that fans will have to see a completely unrelated movie to get to see the new trailer, because honestly I believe that most of the people at that movie theather will be there to see the NM trailer, and all the other ones are kids!! As a marketing strategy, it is the first time I see a movie poster with a note that promises a trailer from another movie. Lousy way to take advantage of another film with such a huge fan base to jump-start your own. The new trailer should be posted on line in the official website, after all, twilight’s success is purely fan powered.
