‘NEW MOON’ PREMIERE CONFIRMED
September 8th, 2009
As we told you earlier today, there was some confusion about the dates on which the official premiere of New Moon would take place. We finally have official confirmation from Summit that the premiere will be held on Monday, November 16th 2009, as reported by the Mann Theatres website here.
That’s right now you have it, the star-studded official movie premiere for New Moon is November 16th in LA. The movie officially opens on November 20th.
I’m so glad we got that all cleared up. It was really confusing when we were getting different dates from different sites. It’s always best to wait and hear the official confirmation from Summit themselves.
So now that we know the real date of the premiere, are you going to go?

I’m so glad the date is confirmed. I’m back from vacation on the 14th and off work until the 16th so, maybe I could go. lol. But also, you mentioned the Mann theatres link. I don’t see New Moon confirmed anywhere on that site or the link you gave?
The Mann’s Theatres website has removed the New Moon premiere from their list.

This New Moon Premiere is the first big premiere for the movie, it will take place in LA. We don’t have a list of worldwide premieres yet. As soon as we know anything, we’ll post them on the newsblog!

Hi guys, I am travelling all the way from Australia just to attend this premiere!! Crazy stuff, but you only live once and i wanna be where the action is! Anyone going? I need freinds as i am going to be a loner there and do not know what to expect really!

No. We aren’t going to our UK premiere because Summit have made the LA one so late, the London one has been cancelled. Boo.
Your statement is quite incorrect. The premiere is being held in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Pinnacle Theater. They are having a raffle for the few public tickets that will be sold and if your name is drawn you get to pay 100 per ticket and can only get two tickets. It has been confirmed by Regal Theaters and Knoxville New Sentinel. The proceeds from the tickets will be given to the Knoxville Charties.
Actually this statement is correct. The premiere in Knoxville is a premiere held after the world premiere, but Kristen and Taylor are confirmed to attend now. The actual world premiere of New Moon will be on November 16th in LA as confirmed by Summit.

Oh My Lord. Some people are soooo nieve. I would give anything to go to th premiere and mett Tay and Rob and Kristen but I know it’s not going to happen. I live in the UK and i was going to go if there was on being held in London but their not doing a world premiere so i guess I just have to check out as much footage as i can. Even if you fly out or whatever to LA do you realise how packed its going to be. You’ll need to camp out for a week just to get a glimpse of the cast. And people asking when the film is released aren’t even fans. As if you dont know that by now. ughhhh. i’m getting so stressed out right now.
