‘NEW MOON’ SET UPDATE: BELLA’S RACE TO SAVE EDWARD

We have an incredibly exciting New Moon set update for you! We have the outdoor scenes in Italy, where Bella is racing to save Edward from exposing his true nature in the sunlight. Bella smashes into Edward, and they are reunited. (Warning: heavy spoilers below)

I am completely breathless. I swear I stopped breathing for quite awhile. These pictures are just beautiful. Rob looks absolutely fantastic! He must have been working out really hard. What strikes me the most is the emotion on his face, and the emotion in every posture from Rob and Kristen. It actually chokes me up, I can feel the emotion that I get when I read the book.

What do you think of these pictures? What is your first thought?

I meant embodiment in my other post. I do know how to spell the word.

Christina: I think you are right on the shadowing. Makeup to enhance muscles is one thing, and probably what was done here. CGI to completely create a new facade is something else. That is what I meant. I too can see something that could be shadowing. OK by me!!!
I think he looks just right. If he was too overmuscled it would look phony. Not surprisingly, I think he looks just about perfect.

Taylor, you look great, but…I have to give this one to Rob.

so i just looked at the youtube clip… if memory serves, wasn’t edward about to step out of an alleyway, or some such? Because in the photos they have him standing in a huge doorway that they duck into after the kiss (which, by the way, wasn’t in the book either, but i’m not going to bitch too much about movies and artistic license)

First of all, are these not “candid” photos shot by onlookers? I do not believe that there is any enhancing of any kind on Robs abs or anything else.

And yes, in the book, Rob was stepping out of a covered alley with his white shirt, that was on the ground, reflecting some of the sunlight. No, there was no kiss until after the “interview” with Aro and they were sent to wait until sundown in the lobby – and then it was just a kiss on the top of her head at first, if I remember correctly. They were interupted by Felix and Demetri before any kiss was possible in the alley.

And last, but not least, these pictures are fabulous! I can not wait until November gets here.

they are ok. i still think jacob is hotter and what is with them making that scene into a makeout scene. But i can’t wait for it to come out.

Ya Allah.. that was painful to see. Rob looked so lifeless it broke me… the kiss was so forceful and sad. but happy. I loved it!

OMg, OMG I can not get a hold of myself. i so wish that i was an actor so i could do that or see rob. His abs do look a tiny bit air brushed,, but he still looks hot. I do wish that he might wax so he looks even more sexy. I can not wait until the release!!!!!
