Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner Chat About Marriage and Awkward Kisses

Posted June 14th, 2010 By: Evie 7 Comments »

ET Online also got a chance to interview Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner over the weekend at the Eclipse press junket. In the interview Rob, Kristen and Taylor talk about marriage in the upcoming Breaking Dawn, the awkward kisses they filmed in New Moon and Eclipse, more on Taylor being shirtless and fame. Check out the video below:

In the beginning of ‘Eclipse,’ Edward has just proposed to Bella and is waiting on her answer. Stewart comments on her personal feelings toward marriage, telling ET, “It’s kind of sad that people cringe at the word marriage but it’s totally common. It is just our generation. … Maybe if you’re in the right place, it could be the right thing for you.”

Stewart has a few kissing scenes in the sequel with both Pattinson and Lautner. “Whenever there’s a kiss, there’s always an awkwardness in the scene,” Pattinson says of the smooches. “I guess it’s not so nerve racking anymore.”

The actress adds, “Kisses in movies tend to be a little awkward because you have to show the camera that you’re kissing and typically if you just do it naturally, it’s the back of your head.”

Lautner also had some awkward moments on set, telling ET, “It is uncomfortable sometimes mainly because I’m the only person on the entire set without a shirt.”

There was a lot of ground covered in those few short minutes in these interviews!

Kristen Stewart Talks to MTV About ‘Best Kiss’ Plans and her Musical Tastes

Posted June 13th, 2010 By: Evie 3 Comments »

MTV got a chance to be part of the press junket yesterday for Eclipse and got some great interviews with the Twilight cast. Kristen Stewart talked to reporter Josh Horowitz about the plans Robert Pattinson had for their “Best Kiss” acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards and what she’d choose in music. Check out the videos below:

Kristen talks about the plans for “Best Kiss” Acceptance

Kristen talks musical taste

I love Kristen interviews! I wonder if all those crazy ideas for the Best Kiss acceptance speech were really true, because that does sound completely nutty. I’m glad they went with what they did, it was perfect. It’s interesting how important music was to Kristen in New Moon, I can see where that would completely get you in the mood for a particular mindset though.

Kristen Stewart has Chris Weitz’s Vote at the MTV Movie Awards

Posted June 4th, 2010 By: Evie No Comments »

MTV’s Hollywood Crush has a very cute interview with Chris Weitz. In the interview Chris admits he fully supports Kristen Stewart for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Check out the video below:

With five nominations each, the night is shaping up to be a “New Moon”/”Avatar” fight to the finish. “New Moon” director Chris Weitz knows who he’s rooting for. Spoiler alert: it’s exactly who you think.

“Kristen is my girl, and I think that she should win,” he told MTV News. “She’s a fantastic actress.”

Chris’ endorsement of Kristen comes as no surprise, since he has been very vocal about praising his young “New Moon” stars. But instead of ballots to decide the winner, Chris said he’s hoping for another kind of contest. “Maybe they should resolve it with kind of an MMA [mixed martial arts] thing.”

Zoe’s no stranger to action movies, so we’re sure she’d be a pro at mixed martial arts. But what about Kristen? Chris said he thinks she’s got more fight in her than you’d expect. He’d love to see the two ladies throw down.

“Kristen’s scrappy,” he said. “She’s wiry. She’s scrappy.”

I love The Replacements reference!

Heads up, Twilighters: Mama Cullen has an assignment for you! With the 2010 MTV Movie Awards just days away, the matriarch of the Cullen clan wants you to vote for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” in all the multiple categories where it appears, not the least of which is … Best Movie!

“[I hope] you guys will vote for ‘New Moon’ for the MTV Movie Awards, because this is a fan[-voted] award, and we need you guys,” Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Esme Cullen, said in a campaign video for MTV News. “We worked really hard, and it seems like maybe you liked it, since we’re nominated.

“So hopefully, we’ll win! Thanks!”

Again, how can you not completely love Liz? She is so cute and charming.

Band Of Skulls Talks New Album and Fans from ‘New Moon’ Soundtrack

Posted June 1st, 2010 By: Evie No Comments »

Spinner sat down with Matt Hayward, the drummer from Band of Skulls to talk about the band’s upcoming new album and songs. In the interview Matt mentions how excited they were to be a part of the New Moon soundtrack and how it really opened up their fan base. Read more below:

Current single ‘Death by Diamonds and Pearls’ hit the shops on May 17. Next single, ‘Fires,’ will be released on September 13 ahead of the September 20 release of a deluxe version of their debut album. This features five new tracks, including ‘Friends,’ which featured on the soundtrack of ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon.’

Matt says that being on the soundtrack of ‘New Moon’ introduced them to a host of new fans — and helped boost their Twitter followers to more than 46,000.

He tells Spinner, “People are turning up to our shows because of that. We were very excited when we were asked to do it, then when we saw we were on the soundtrack with the likes of Thom Yorke, Muse and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, we were very flattered.”

“The nice thing is, it’s a group of people who wouldn’t necessarily get into our band otherwise, we’re reaching a whole new group of people. It’s amazing!”

It’s so cool that Band of Skulls got more fans from being on the New Moon Soundtrack, I know I’m one of them!
