NEW SIGNS POSTED IN MONTEPULCIANO HINT AT PRE-PRODUCTION FOR ‘NEW MOON’

Some new signs placed by Proscenium Pictures appeared in Montepulciano, where part of New Moon will be filmed, on an entrance gate to the Fortress. Speculation is that pre-production for the Twilight sequel is underway behind the gates, seeing as how Proscenium Pictures had previously held auditions for extras.

I think I got a little more excited looking at a picture of a gate than I should have. I am just too excited for them to start filming in Italy, as that’s the first time we’re introduced to the Volturi and so many great scenes happen there. I can’t wait until we get more pictures!

What?! No armed guards! Old relic-like gates are so important in a movie setting like New Moon. I wonder what Eclipse will look like with the Volturi Vampires in “Forks, WA”! I know…a bit far off…so…what is happening behind those closed gates?! Could we have a peek!? PLEASEE!!!
I just read the article in Italian and the Italian fan’s comments. I used to live in Italy for several years and speak the language and it looks like the fans there are just as estatic as we are! They are so eager to find out any kind of news and want to know dates and times the cast will be there so they too can stalk the sets! Poor Rob and Kristen, they just can’t get away from the crazy fans! Wish I was there
What’s another word for overly excited, I love the gates, yes, creepy and scary, the entrance to the Volturi, wow…..That little Town has no idea what it’s in for …. I also don’t think 5 days of shooting is enough… I bet they will stay longer otherwise is it worth it? Anyway I wish I could be there…….

I’m excited because it means they are near the end of filming which means they will have PLENTY of time for editing and filming additional scenes if needed.
I think that is what they missed a LOT of in Twilight. Seriously, if I were Catherine Hardwicke and I saw the way Robert acted in the 1st classroom scene? I would have done it over again and told him to lighten up…(and that’s just one instance)

What a windfall for this town. Not only do they have the cast, crew and about a gazillion hanger-ons invading right now, but when all of these people are gone, this place will be a magnet for Twilight people. Just like Forks.
I wonder if Stephenie is there? Can you imagine for her what the realization of this part of the story must feel like?
