Twilight: The Soundtrack of our Lives

Music is such an integral part of life for so many people, me especially. I cannot get through a minute of my day without having some background music or as I like to call it â€œthe soundtrack of my lifeâ€. When the news of the soundtrack for Twilight hit me I immediately pre-ordered it and anxiously awaited its arrival. I was bouncing with excitement to hear these songs after seeing the track listings and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. There is not one song on this soundtrack that I skip over (which is a feat for me because Iâ€™m trigger happy when it comes to my stereo controls). It is a beautiful mix of sweet, haunting, romantic, exciting and sad all wrapped up into 12 tracks (15 if you buy from ITunes).

Now for those of you that are just like me and sometimes miss all those wonderful little details this soundtrack is also available on ITunes (which I just finally entered that world)! If you purchase the album on ITunes you are able to purchase the â€œspecialâ€ edition that includes three extra tracks, one by RPattz. You can enjoy Claire de Lune, La Traviata and Let Me Sign. So needless to say, Iâ€™ve purchased the soundtrack twice and have no reason other than the fact that Iâ€™m slightly addicted to Twilight.

I bought the CD through Amazon sheerly because I wanted to pump it up to number one…which we did! SQUEEEE! It’s still like number 6 on the charts! But now I have to purchase it on itunes simply becasue I love Robs voice! He’s like melting honey….shudders! I want the score too! Yes, Im slightly addicted!

I hear you! I actually bought the soundtrack on Itunes as my first purchase ever from Itunes. It is amazing from start to replay I actually also bought the soundtrack at Borders because it has the exclusive Paramore’s Decode in the acoustic verion as a bonus. I love it as well. The score is incredible too. Doesn’t it bring back the emotions of the movie. I enjoyed the movie in the fullest extent because of the wonderful soundtrack! I highly encourage anyone who has just recently acquired the soundtrack to see the movie again after getting to know the soundtrack well. All I can say is AMAZING!

I bought the soundtrack even though I wasn’t sure who a lot of the people on it were… at first it was a bit “strange” for me because most of it is very different than what I’d normally listen too.

I listened, listened, and listened some more.

Now I am listening to it ALL DAY AND NIGHT TOO! I’m as addicted to the ST as I am to the books, movie, and all things sparkly or furry.

What? I dont’ have a problem… really… I can stop…. NOT!

I LOOOOOVE the soundtrack so much that I fear I might wear the cd out… maybe I should buy a backup just in case?

A little birdie told me I’m getting the score for Christmas so I can’t wait!!!!! WHOO HOOO!
