KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS: ROBERT PATTINSON WILL NOT ATTEND

It’s a sad day, Twilighters, but we’ve lost out on a chance to see Robert Pattinson at another award show. Can there be a bright side to this? Of course. Rob is forced to miss the Kids Choice Awards, which airs tonight on Nickelodeon, because he is busy filming for a certain movie we’re all counting down to. Read below for more:

 
Robert Pattinson is on the list to attend the Kids Choice Awards on Saturday. But according to the organizers, who talked to The Dish Rag this morning, Pattz Man will not be attending. Nor will he be doing a videotaped segment.

He’s busy on the set shooting “New Moon.” And probably being protected by Canadian Mounties.

Okay, I’ll admit that I totally planned on tuning into the Kids Choice Awards tonight to catch a glimpse of Rob. Now that he definitely won’t be attending, I likely will not watch, except maybe for a bit to see if ‘Twilight’ won in the book category!

Did you have plans to watch the Kids Choice Awards? Now that we know Rob won’t be attending, will that cause you to not tune in? How well do you think ‘Twilight’ can hold up in the book category?

    You never know who to believe, so I’ll keep my eyes open for him anyway. This could all be a lie…I hope it is! Not that he’s filming NM, but that he won’t be at the KCA’s. I’m not a pessimistic person.

    I will just watch it to see Twilight win the best book category.
    I am sad that he is not attending.
    But, I thought he wasn’t filming yet… he said he hadn’t even been to the set yet.
    Well, if he IS filming, then I’m HAPPY!
    Can’t wait for New Moon!

    I totally agree. I was checking the site this morning to make sure it was on and was only going to watch long enough to see Rob, and of course make sure Twilight won best book, But now its not that big a deal. But Rob filming new moon that is a good thing.

    I was going to watch for Rob but now I won’t. If he does attend, then I’ll just watch it on youtube ’cause I’m sure somebody will upload it.

    I’m really glad to hear this, actually, and would be glad even if he were just skipping it and not doing anything Twilight-related instead. I was also relieved to hear he went to a friend’s concert instead of going to one of the DVD release parties. He really, really needs a break from appearances, and it’s a good sign that Summit is giving him some breathing room. Pattinson has been beyond generous with his time and so good-natured about all the attention and craziness. It’s about time he got left alone for a while.

    I agree Bella Cullen. As long as his sweet face is busy gracing the set of New Moon, then he can be absent all he wants.

    I was just watching the beginning of this, and they said that Taylor Lautner will be there! I plan on watching just to see if Twilight wins, but now maybe I’ll see Taylor too!

    OME!! So…Rob couldn’t go because he was filming. But, Taylor Lautner could go…
    Well, isn’t Taylor in, like, 65% more of the movie. And, of course, they’re not in Italy yet.
    So, doesn’t that mean that as I’m typing this there is a huge possibilty that they are filming the goodbye scene right now?

    I watched it anyway. I was so upset when I didn’t see rob! :( But there was Taylor who was so cute! :) I least we got one of the main characters! :)

    Remember, Taylor’s been up there filming for a while. Rob’s just gotten back up there. There’s no telling what they’re filming considering that they do so many short segments at a time… Filmmakers rarely film anything in order or even all of one scene at a time.

    I didn’t get to see Taylor on the KCA but I watched the end of it…. kinda glad I didn’t waste the WHOLE time watching it. I’m sure I’ll be able to view it on youtube soon enough.

    I was watching and taping it just in case. Taylor looks fantastic and I’m glad Twilight won best book! Take that Harry Potter!
    But, what’s up with Twilight not being in the top 4 movies? The Dark Knight was there? If I were a parent, my kids would not be allowed to see The Dark Knight-I’d rather they’d see Twilight than that. And even that would depend on their age. So why are kids voting for something they shouldn’t be seeing in the first place? Don’t get me wrong, the Dark Knight was a great movie, but too dark (and definitely adult) for kids.

    JUST to say to twilightfan14, the dark knight is not necasarilly a bad movie for kids, dont get me wrong, a lot of kids should not see it but, there are a mature few out there that can handle that. Those few are the ones that can talk politics with adult and make a good point. Plus the movie has some themes that if a child mature a nuff to understand them, then he could watch it
