KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS: ‘TWILIGHT’ WINS BEST BOOK, TAYLOR LAUTNER ACCEPTS
We told you earlier that Rob Pattinson would not be attending the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards, but even though Rob didn’t show up, Nickelodeon didn’t disappoint on the Twilight front. Not only did Twilight win Best Book, but our very own Taylor Lautner accepted the award!

Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob) accepted the Kids’ Choice Best Book award for “Twilight” from Hugh Jackman and Sandra Bullock, who both got slimed just as they announced the winner.“This is awesome,” Taylor told the screaming crowd. “Thank you, guys.”
He added that “Twilight” creator/author Stephenie Meyer wished she could have been there and that they are shooting “New Moon” now and having a lot of fun.
“You guys are going to love it!”
And of course, every girl in the auditorium squealed and shrieked.
