OK! Magazine has a new photo gallery with 7 secrets of ‘New Moon’. They’ve got some set news, casting news, and more.
#1: No Narnia in New Moon
Despite speculation that British actor Ben Barnes, last seen as Prince Caspian in the Narnia movies, would play Aro, the sinister leader of the vampire world, his L.A.-based agent, Nick Reed, sets the record straight: “Although Ben has enjoyed much of the speculation, we haven’t had any calls. There’s no truth to it.”
#2: Bella’s Boy On Set
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, will crush the rumors of romance with Robert Pattinson by keeping four-year-love Michael Angarano close. “Her boyfriend will come to visit her on set,” an insider tells OK!.
#3: The Best is Still Unwritten
With filming just weeks away, the cast (with many roles still undecided) haven’t seen their lines! “I am waiting to get my hands on the script. I am looking forward to getting to work!” Justin Chon, who played Bella’s onetime suitor in Twilight, Eric Yorkie, tells OK!.
#4: 90210 Stars Sign Up
AnnaLynne McCord will sink her teeth into the role of Heidi. Gal pal to Emmett Cullen, aka Kellan Lutz, she says, “I’m so obsessed with vampires!” 90210 actor Brandon Michael Vayda will play Jared the werewolf.
#5: Paramore is Back on Track
Rockers Paramore helped launch the Twilight soundtrack to No. 1 with their single “Decode.” Now, sources tell OK! that the group is penning New Moon’s title track. Meanwhile, RPattz, who contributed two songs to the first soundtrack, may sit this one out. “I really didn’t want it to look like I was trying to cash in,” says the modest immortal.
#6: Taylor: From Wuss to Wolf

I love all the secrets that OK! gave us, though! I would be thrilled for another Paramore song on the ‘New Moon’ soundtrack. And FINALLY we get some casting news!

I appreciate Kristen’s wish to not be like the other actresses and keep her boyfriend of four years, but I seriously think she needs to branch out. She doesn’t look comfortable at all with him; she looks much happier with Rob. Even if she didn’t date Rob, having the same boyfriend since you were only 14 is a little ridiculous.

I completely agree. i think that kristens boyfriend needs to back off. he’s totally scared of kristen falling for rob, even though i wouldnt doubt if she already has. she looks so much happier with rob. she looks very tense and weird with her boyfriend. i think rob and kristen are adorable together.
As for paramore i am very excited that they are working on the title track, i loved decode and i caught myself. they fit in the movie really well.
Ok i understand that Kristen wants to keep Michael cose but i dont think he needs to be on the set. who cares how long they have been going out i have a frien who has been dating her boyfriend for 5 or 6 years. i am happy to see paramore come back for new moon i love there song’s. Dakota i am a fan if her’s but i dont think she will look the part. where are they going to find her twin to?
So far I like the casting for Heide and Jared, but if Dakota Fanning gets cast I’ll be really mad. I just don’t like the idea of bringing big names to the movie. No one really knows who Anna Lyne and Brandon are so I’m totally ok with that but, ugh, I really don’t want her to be in New Moon.
I’m totally psyched for Paramore, though, they are amazing and I love them!!!!
I Love that Annalynn got Heidi, and I’m not really sure about the guy for Jared, but I’ve only seen him a few times…so I’m not really sure. As for Dakota…I’m kinda torn…sure she could try to pull it off, but my thoughts are more focused on who’s gonna be her twin brother…But I’m sure they’ll do a good job in casting. I bothered that they have a month before shooting start’s and they haven’t mentioned who’s gonna play everyone in the Volturi…I mean you’ve got Aro, Caius, and Marcus…and that’s not even the guard…they’ve really only mentioned the Female roles, and there are so few of them. I gotta admit that all this not telling is making me think that they’re not gonna start on time.
I love that Paramore is doing more songs for new moon…I’m a big fan of paramore, and I was stoked when I learned that they were doing songs for the twilight soundtrack…so I can’t wait.
As for the Kristen and her boyfriend, and Rob…it’s her life, she can do with it, what she wants…She may look more comfortable with Rob, but it’s her decision, and her life…and I think people should just back off. cause seriously would you want people you don’t even know telling you that you and your lover don’t look right together?
ok. kristens bf needs to back off. how is she supposed to perform a good role if her bf is getting all jealous of rob? and im not a fan of paramore, maybe cause im a guy? idk. but whoever is working on the new moon soundtrack needs to realize that the twilight saga is not just for girls. i love the twilight saga. how am i supposed to enjoy new moon if its all girl music. maybe mix it a little? like girl boy music? anyways. im excited for dakota fanning to play jane. shes a good actress and i can see her playing The Volturi Vampire, Jane.
Ok I think it’s cool that kristen wants to keep her boyfriend close but like c’mon she will be like way better with Robert. Kristen and Micheal look weird togather so tense and she looks very uncomfortable with him and then her and Rob they look perfect!

One main thing, who says that Michael is staying on set out of jealousy? Has anyone ever considered that maybe he’s there to support her, or because he’s made friends with everyone on the set too? Or maybe Kristen wants him there? I say it’s a good thing, especially with actors being so busy, at least they get to spend some time together!

I think everyone just needs to chill out with the Kristen thing. If she loves the guy she’s with, then get over it. If he comes on set, big deal. Celebrities have their partners on set all the time. And maybe she’s young. But I don’t think having the same boyfriend since she was fourteen is stupid. I think it’s amazing. I had the same boyfriend since I was 16. We broke up right before my 19th birthday (he cheated). But if you’re young, and you can be with someone like that, and make it work, hell, go for it! It just shows that you are ready for a mature relationship and that you want to be with that person.
And as for the Rob thing, I highly doubt she’s gonna run to him just because everyone wants her to.
If Kristen is in love with her boyfriend that’s cool. But honestly, in interviews Kristen and Rob are always so mushy about each other, it’s really hard for me to believe they don’t have feelings for one another. Whenever I see Kristen and Michael together she does look uncomfortable and he’s always like right there it seems like. If he isn’t worried about Rob, and there is nothing to it then wouldn’t he not mind giving her a little breathing room?..Just saying.
I hope the Paramore thing is true! I loved the first sound track.
As for the Dakota thing and the 90210 people, I really don’t like the idea of having anybody with much celebrity status. That way you can kind of get sucked into the story. Too many celebrities and that’s all you notice.
Sorry, im a little embarrassed to be asking this but who is heidi?? i’ve been thinking about it for a while now and i don’t remember anyone named heidi in any of the books! HELP!

Paramore? mehhh…I vote Mutemath ‘You Are Mine’ and Alanis Morrisette ‘Unworthy’ for the new soundtrack.
I don’t really worry about who they pick to play other parts at this point. They got Bella and Edward (not to mention Alice, Carlile and Esme) right. It’ll all be OK.

Near the end of the book when Edward and Bella are leaving the room that the Volturi are in a really attractive vampire enters who has collected a bunch of people for the Volturi. That’s Heidi. She’s the “fisher”.
ok, just to help you out Jenn, Heidi is the beautiful vampire who brings “dinner” for the Volturi…remember? she greets Edward when he’s leaving the Volturi lair with Bella and Alice…
Who cares about Kristen’s boyfriend! I just hopes she give a good performance. As for Rob, I don’t think he’s worried about Kristen’s boyfriend, or cares. I hope they hurry and pick the rest of the cast.
To Jenn: Heidi was in Volterra with the Volturi, when they come out of the hole or wherever they where in that dungeon and all those people walk in, I think Alec leads them out (right?) Alice Edward and Bella, and he talks to her. Bella describes her as beautiful with red hair and violet eye’s and she reminds her of Rosalie, she’s the “bait” so to speak.. And btw, isn’t Jared a Quileute? That dude does NOT look Native at all! I mean a tiny bit maybe, but come on? And the whole Kristen and her bf thing, let it be people! Rob and Kristen aren’t gonna get together just cus we all want them to lol. If she’s happy with that guy then good for her, and as for Rob, I’m single

Wow, I feel bad for Kristin and how everyone is getting so hot and bothered about her love life. She’s with this guy and not Rob for a reason. Sure it seems like they get along really well, but I’ve seen interviews with both of them where they say they don’t really know each other that well outside of Twilight contexts. And honestly Rob gets pretty flirty whenever there are girls around, the myspace Hayley Williams interview for example.
On another note, Brandon Vayda? As Jared? …Really? I just don’t see it. What was the point of the aboriginal casting call again? Maybe the Cullens really did move to LA because hell they’re gathering quite the 90210 crowd.

hope taylor still plays jacob in new moon if not i dont think it will be as good and all the working out he has done would be for no reason. i hope new moon is more like the book and dosnt miss as much detail like twilight did.
i am sooooo excited for this movie and it is getting worse now that so many things are coming out about it. It is also kool that it comes out on my 17th birthday.

Though most of this post had already been said/humored I’m happy to hear some of it is confirmed! I’m so excited that Paramore is going to be back for New Moon. I absolutely love them! I hadn’t really heard of them prior to the soundtrack and now I’ve itunes’d pretty much everything they’ve done (btw if you haven’t heard My Hero by Paramore look it up).
As for the acting selections they’ve made I’m happy with them. Though, I am worried that if Dakota is on board that they’re going to blow their budget on an actress that isn’t really in New Moon much but will entitle her a reprising role in the next two movies blowing those budgets also. Here’s a thought… I’ll play Jane for probably 1/100 of the cost! Sounds good to me… I suppose I could look mean if that meant getting to meet Rob! Hmm.. I’m so greatful to have TA.. I’d go nuts trying to find this all on my own!

On all the interviews and pix that I’ve seen, I always see Kristen happy with Rob and Rob happy with Kristen. I wish I can say the same with her beau Michael. It seems like Rob & Kristen bring out the best in each other. Also, I feel that fate brought Rob to Twilight. He is the only actor who could of played Edward..he has proven that. Sure Kristen & Michael have been together for years, but that really doesn’t mean anything. If they are meant to be, so be it, if not, the twist with show itself eventually.
As for Taylor, how could he pack twenty-five pounds..what is he trying to do to himself? I guess he wants to be Jacob badly.

AS for Michael Vayda for Jared, How old is this guy? He just doesn’t fit the vision I saw in my head for him… Any news about who is playing Sam? I hope that character stays the same… I think they aren’t really making these actors look like a true Quiluete tribe!!! Can’t wait to See Lautners new fit body! I am relieved that Ben Barnes will not be Aro. He is much to young-looking to be Aro. I have pictured Aro to be much older, and ancient, like the Bruce Spence, who played Khayman in Queen Of The Damned. Or, Aro could be played by Bill Nighy, who plays Viktor in the Underworld movies. Either one is a much better Aro than Ben Barnes.
Brendon will make an awesome Jared! Dakota Fanning will kick butt as Jane, and AnnaLynne will do a nice Heidi.
I love the orange tint, but since I am a Graphic Designer, I see flaws, too. I could bevel, highlight, and make the logo look ten times better! LOL Sorry, but I’m a logo designer. I look at various logos that I know can be improved in many ways. The font is awesome, as it keeps to the original font, but they could’ve made the logo much better-looking.
I dont think Dakota FAnning should be Jane. Her lips arent full like Jane’s lips are supposed be. She doesnt look like a Jane and I dont think she can pull of being Jane volturi no offence..

Ok, I’m only piping in because of the 2499259295838937923 comments that I’ve been reading about Kristen’s boyfriend.
Guys, whether or not you think their relationship is ridiculous is unimportant-they love each other and are choosing to be together. If Kristen says that she has no feelings for Rob then we have to respect that. It’s important to remember they’re not ACTUALLY Edward and Bella.
If Michael is on-set it might mean that KRISTEN wants him there, not the other way around. Maybe Rob creeps her out or something. Please remember that you don’t know them personally and if it were you and your boy-toy, you wouldn’t want people telling you who to date!

i think the actors are gonna be great! im a little miffed with the wolves, coz I alway pictured them with MUCH darker skin. Maybe its just me but in twilight, I always thought that laurent’s skin was more like the quileutes should be, and theres was more like what laurents should be…laurent was meant to be olive coloured wasnt he? maybe its just me…

I love that paramore is back. I am officially a covert! I had never heard of them before they got on the twilight soundtrack but now i love them! I really hope that the people making new moon also consider Hana Pestle’s ‘Need’ its really beautiful and I think it fits well
