PETER FACINELLI TAKES A BITE OUT OF ‘NEW MOON’ AND REVEALS ‘ECLIPSE’ DETAILS

Peter Facinelli, who plays patriarch Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga franchise, took a little time to stop by the PopEater studios and talk about the films. In this new interview, Peter talks about the film’s premiere last Monday, what he is looking forward to in Eclipse, and what he knows about Breaking Dawn, among other things. I know New Moon literally just came out yesterday, but hearing all this talk and excitement about Eclipse is already making me impatient! The vamp fighting and hearing about Esme ‘rolling up her sleeves’ sounds so great and I am so very much looking forward to the film. What did you think of this interview?

    Please someone get a note over to David Slade to correct the hideous makeup job on the Cullens in New Moon. In New Moon (which was magnificant grant you) all of the Cullens look frightening and ghoulish (not beautiful as the book describes them).

    The reason that they are supposed to fit in among humans is because they believably look like “very beautiful” humans with “pale” skin and golden eyes. Not so in New Moon. Their makeup was way too white, eyes too noticably red-gold to believe that anyone wouldn’t run if they saw them. Most striking was Rosalie who is supposed to be the most unbelievably beautiful, who during the “family vote” scene, looked scary.

    Please Spade, put them back to what they looked like in Twilight or improve on what they look like in New Moon. It was distracting to watch. And for heavens sake, get someone to fix Alice’s wig. It was old lady hideous for no reason. The girl is drop dead gorgeous. FIX THIS PLEASE.

    I have to say that I actually had the opposite reaction to the look of the Cullens in New Moon that Me Michele had. I thought they looked fantastic. I didn’t have a problem with the white makeup in either of the movies, but I did have a problem with their wardrobe in the first movie. I’m so glad they improved their wardrobe and hair in New Moon. I LOVED Alice’s hair in New Moon a lot more than in Twilight. I wish they would have flipped it out a little bit more, but IMO, it looked like it was a better quality and a better color the second time around.

    So cute they held hands, lol! Peter can attack me anytime. ;)
