PHILIPPINES GETS NOV. 20TH RELEASE DATE FOR TWILIGHT MOVIE!

Viva International Pictures has just confirmed that the Philippines has just been given a release date of November 20th! There had been petitions to get a December 12th release date, but they got even better than they’d hoped for! Congratulations! Looks like their hard work paid off.

I know how excited I was to find out the U.S. release date had been pushed up a few weeks, so I can’t imagine how excited Twilighters in the Philippines are to hear that they get to see the movie a day before the US does! Although, according to their timezone, they technically get to see the movie nearly 2 days before I do. Jealous, much? ;)

    Actually, I think they’re getting it at the 21st too (Still earlier than US)
    That’s what it says on TwilightCovenph.blogspot.com, and they have communications with the Philippine distributor of the Twilight movie.

    hi there.. i live in PHIL. and darn it’s moved again.. not on the 2oth but instead on the 21st of november (well better than the previous plan, JAN. 9 right??!!).. to conform w/ the U.S released d8…

    meals: well as a member of TCP (twilight coven phil.) what they did was set a meeting w/ the company that holds the license to release the film… and PUFF.. the kind and very understanding company heard our plea… :D

    actually i never heard of the book.. (to think that i love readinG) but i saw it’s movie poster and actually discussed it with the forum i was a member.. i really find it interesting and cool..!! i love the supernatural thingies there and its a good thing that we don’t have to wait that long!!! :)

    GOODNESS!!..somebody told me that the released date would be moved AGAIN to ‘NOVEMBER 26′ and they said that this is the final date due to post blah blah of the film in the US (not SUMMIT’s fault they claimed)..huhuhu
