Reelz Channel : What five scenes in the New Moon book do you most want to see on the big screen? That’s the question we posed to a number of Twilight fansites. We bring you their responses below — in alphabetical order (just to be clear that we’re not picking favorites). New Moon’s 5 Most-Anticipated Scenes:

BellaandEdward.com, His Golden Eyes, NewMoonMovie.org, Twilight20Somethings, and Twi.org were asked about their 5 most anticipated scenes in the New Moon Movie. Here are a few of their choices:

-Bella’s birthday paper-cut scene
-Port Angelas/the first time Bella “hears” Edward
-The cliff diving
-When Bella wakes up after Italy and thinks it’s a dream, and then her epiphany
-The Volturi, especially Jane and her powers
-When Bella stops Edward from exposing himself in Volterra
-Meeting the Volturi
-When Edward leaves Bella
-Bella, Jacob, and Mike at the movies
-Meeting Emily
-The whole of chapter 3, ‘The End’
-The face-off between the wolves and Laurent in Edward’s meadow

i dissagree with everyone who says they should show what edwards doing after he leaves forks.
that’s dumb !
it’s not in the book really.
i’d rather live without edward for part of a movie (i know it’s hard ! lol) and do the book justice, then do smth stupid like that.
he’s going to be in all the rest, you’ll get your full dose of him i promise ! lol.
(although i can’t ever get enough ! :]]) lol.

I don’t think the Port Angeles scene is necessary. They’ll have to trim somewhere, let’s be honest. That one can go. I can also see them cutting a lot, but probably not all, of the Emily story.

I look forward to watching the chemistry develop between Bella and Jacob (even though I am totally Team Edward all the way) and I hope they play up the motorcycle scene and the build up to it where their “friendship” develops and deepens, and then when she jumps and is saved by Jacob.

For the love triangle to work they are going to have to make Jacob’s character very likable, and show some vulnerability at the right moments so that the audience knows he is starting to feel something for her, and that the audience can identify with his feelings and not just see him as an annoyance.

I think it will be very necessary for them to demonstrate how torn-up Bella is over the break-up, so the break-up and getting lost in the woods, and being found by Sam Uley will be important to the plot development.

And the sweet but dangerous reunion in Italy, followed by the marriage proposal in her bedroom. Ahh, I can’t wait for those scenes. I also love the kissing scenes in the book, so I hate to be greedy but I’ll take as many of those as possible.

I really do hope they put in the part where Edward is whispering Romeo’s lines in her ear on the couch; before they go to the party Then see the contrast of how he starts to distance himself from her.

I have not seen one comment on this yet but once edward leaves her they need to show how devastated she was. Other than that everything else sounds great. team edward

I think new moon is going to be the sadest part of the saga because that is when Edward leaves Bella.

2. Bella’s b-day party when Jasper attacks
3. When Edward leaves Bella–and Sam finds her
4. The 4 months passing for bella
5. Bella seeing Jacob and meeting Quil and Embry
6. Bella buying the motorcycles and Jacob fixing them and then riding them-hearing edward
7. Bella and Jessica going to the movies when she sees the creeps-hearing edward
8. Bella Jacob and Mike going going to and at the movies
9. Bella seeing the kids jump from the cliff
10. Bella jumping from the cliff-hearing edward
11. Jacob being mean to bella in the woods
12. Bella finding out about the werewolves
13. Jacob sneeking into bellas windo
14. Jacob and paul fighting
15. Alice coming back to help charlie out
16. Edward calling about bella’s funeral-jacob answering and edward thinking it was Charlie
17. Alice finding out that edward called
18. Alice’s visions flashing b/c edward cant make up his mind on what to do
19. Alice and Bella flying to Italy

i hope in the deleted scenes they show the phone call between rosalie and edward the one on sm site….idk that looks interesting…
the whole movie, every chapter i wish nothing would get cut out…

Haha I remember when you guys were doing this sort of thing with Twilight! I really want to see the phone call from Edward to check to see if Bella is alive and the part where Alice flirts with the guard on her way into Volterra

-Rosalies phonecall to edward about bellas death(I knw thats not in the book but Stephenie posted it online and it would be cool to see)
