It’s interesting to see all the choices that other people had, but I will stick with Chris Weitz. I really think he is just the man to tackle the huge job of Breaking Dawn. Chris has shown such a love for the story and the Twilight fans, he seems perfect.

Weitz ALL the way. Couldn’t imagine anyone else would be a better fit in terms of their understanding of/sensitivity toward the material, or even being capable of tackling it. Chris is my top choice - and there isn’t even a close second.

My first choice, without any doubt, would definitely be Chris Weitz! I loved him before New Moon, and now I love him even more! He’s an awesome guy, great person and brilliant director.
If I have to choose another person for this job, my second pick would be Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth).
But, just for the record, let’s stick with first one!

the part that i am really paranoid about converting a novel into a movie is how true to the book it is. the movie would have to be VERY close to the book in order to have the same enthusiasm that is for the book to be for the movie. and by the looks from the trailers and the clips, im pretty sure CHRIS WEITZ has done that the best.

I agree With Chris Weitz as director! but maybe J.J Abrams. I would suggest probably Len Wiseman( Underworld movies, Live Free Die Hard), could probably doin it because he is no stranger to the vampire and werewolf world and he can capture emotional moments perfectly, and he can make a good PG-13 movie(Live Free Die Hard). Or maybe Stephen Sommers ( Mummy movies, Van Helsing, GI:Joe: Rise of the Cobra, etc..).
Chris Weitz or go back with Cathrine Hardwick. They both seem to stay with the books.

I agree Chris Weitz all the way.. He would do it Justice… The other directors wouldn’t understand the complexity and the emotion that needs to be in Breaking Dawn Plus Weitz would stay true to the books!!!
I agree,Chris Weitz! He really does seem to understand what the fans want and staying true to the books. I think Catherine did a great job with twilight,I love it. I don’t get all the haters who say it was bad…
