ROB PATTINSON PEOPLE MAGAZINE’S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE FOR 2009

Just Jared has exciting news from People Magazine, Rob Pattinson fans! Rob was named 2009′s Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine. Check out more below: See below for edit

“In a lot of ways the hair is 75 percent of my performance [in Twilight],” the 23-year-old British actor has joked to EW. “So in the second one I said, ‘Listen, I need to tone down the hair. Let’s make it a little more real.’”

Rob continued, “In the third one, I’m doing fight scenes and there’s a strand going down my forehead and they’re like, ‘We need to do it again because no one will recognize you! No one will know who it is!’ I’m like, really, is my face that generic? I have to look like the poster at all times. Just in case they want to use any clip for the trailer. Any clip at all! There were about five people in different departments who, because of my forelock, ended up in tears.

Not going to lie, I was going to go to bed and then I saw this and it woke me right up. Yes! Rob deserved this one.

    Ok I should NOT be here. It’s early and I’m at work and about ready to launch through the roof with the Red Carpet last night – Mr Sexy on my monitor and only days away from New Moon. I’m positive I’m losing weight because of all the excitement! I must be burning calories!!! hahaha

    this info has not been confirmed by People magazine, and could be some manip from what I read on imdb… Maybe we should wait for a confirmation on the official website, because disapointement could be on its way.

    Is anyone surprised? Is he handsome? Yes. Is he jerk? Not that we have been able to tell? Does he require at least two body guards just to walk the sidewalk? Yes. Does he walk that sidewalk with a major attitude that says he knows we want him? No. Does he have a face that was made to be photographed? Yes. Are we all thrilled to the bone marrow he chose a career that allows for oodles of photographs of said face. Hell yes.

    As much as I also love Kristen and Taylor, Rob is the forefront of all things Twilight. That fact propels him into the spotlight more than any other in the cast.

    Does this make him the sexiest man of 2009? Not really. He brought the goods for that title to the table without Twilight. The role of Edward Cullen just helped focus the spotlight. Are we happy about that? Do you have to ask?

    I actually wondered about this several weeks ago… who would People Mag choose as Sexiest Man Alive this year… I mean, WHO ELSE could it be!?!?! Rob was a shoe-in… and probably will be for many years to come! :)

    Oh, please, PEOPLE! Anyone could have told you this! If you had only thought to ask, every one of us would be screaming it from the rooftops: ROBERT PATTINSON! ROBERT PATTINSON IS THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE!!!!!!

    I mean, come on. That hair! Those eyes! It’s enough to make anyone stop and stare. And it’s not just his looks, either. His whole laid-back, casual, comfortable, untouched personality practically radiates with sexiness. He’s just a guy, at the end of the day. A guy who has been blessed with almost too much sexy to handle. But I think we can all endure it… *wink wink*

    Rob most definitely deserves to be named Sexiest Man Alive, after all he is, of course, but this hasn’t been confirmed and that is an old picture. He might be Sexiest Man Alive, but I would wait until tomorrow morning when People announces this before I start jumping up and down. With that said, I really hope he does win, and I can’t wait to see if he does.

    Yes he most certainly is the sexiest man alive. He is beautiful in everyway and his shyness just makes him that much more endearing. I can’t wait to get a copy of this. The Vanity Fair pictures were something else too! He is so hot!!

    Mr. Johnny Depp is the cover boy for People’s Sexiest Man. They unveiled the cover this morning on Good Morning America. Rob’s got a little picture on the cover, but that does NOT satisfy me. >:(

    I am a Johnny Depp fan, BUT Robert Pattinson is so much sexier than him. I was disappointed when they announced on the Today show this morning that Johnny had gotten the cover. I watched and waited for a whole hour to see it unveiled and then it was Johnny. So disappointed!
    Robert doesn’t need the cover for us twilighters to know he is the sexiest man alive!

    Johnny Depp has been in the film industry for most of his life and has created himself a large fan base due to his acting skills and look. From 21 jump street to Edward Scissor hands to Chocolat. Rob hasnt had the opportunity to do that yet. People have not yet realised his potential once he breaks away from the Twilight movies and can prove himself as a good actor to a larger audience then I think he has a chance of getting sexist man alive.
