ROB PATTINSON TOPS LISTS AND A NEW ROB POLL

We have some Rob Pattinson updates to share with you today. We have Rob getting to the top and close to the top on two big star lists and also a poll that pits Rob against another vampre:

7. Robert Pattinson
Pattinson, tied for seventh place with fellow vampire Anna Paquin of True Blood, has created a teenage heartthrob empire since the release of Twilight in November 2008. The film, whose opening box office earnings were $70 million, played in theaters for over four months. Pattinson has been featured on several magazine covers, including the April 2009 cover of GQ magazine, and is slated to have lead roles in three upcoming films, including the sequel to Twilight in theaters this November.

Robert Pattinson skyrocketed into fame this year, scoring the number one spot on the PopSugar 100 for his first time on the list! The Harry Potter alum quickly became an international heartthrob as Twilight’s Edward Cullen, with his charming good looks and casual demeanor. He turned heads at Cannes and had us captivated at the MTV Movie Awards, and his flirtatious relationship with Kristen Stewart has hearts everywhere aflutter. We’re so happy to welcome Rob to the PopSugar 100 as this year’s number one! Congrats!

I went and voted for Rob at Extra, no way am I letting Stephen Moyer win! I’m not surprised that Rob is topping the list at PopSugar, or so high up on Forbes’ list. Rob is a talented actor, and his star is just starting to shine.

    Of course I voted for Rob. I have just started reading the books behind the TrueBlood series. I like them quite a bit. But, Stephen Moyer is a weak shadow of the character he portrays. Or attempts too I should say.

    Can you spell jealous? Is he hoping some of Rob’s crumbs will fall his way? Hah! Dream on bud. You are crawling in his shadow, and that is as close as you will get.

    Rob IS the hottest vampire! My goodness, Stephen Moyer??? No way, no one has skyrocketted to fame as fast as Rob has this past year! Bill in True Blood did not, even for a minute, keep me captivated in that story.

    Absolute no competition. I didn’t even know who Stephen Moyer was, and besides putting Rob next to him… I mean, there is not contest. Just LOOK at Rob… and look at Stephen…

    I’m surprised that Rob is tied with Anna Paquin on the Forbes list. Seriously? I think she is a very talented actress, but if you look at the criteria the magazine used, I just don’t see how it’s possible. The only thing that she’s been known for over the last year or so (that I can recall) is True Blood…and that plays on a premium cable channel that not everyone has. Rob…he’s been EVERYWHERE. I even did a search on Google News just as a minor comparison. For Anna, there were 264 stories. For Rob—7,921. So, I just can’t understand how Forbes can say they’re tied.

    What did Stephen Moyer say about Rob??? I love True Blood and all, but Twilight is really where my heart is! Anyway, I have more of the hots for Eric Northman (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) than Bill…so ha!

    Ducking here, I thought Bill in the book(s) was very sexy. He is described physically, and sounds to be attractive. But, he is nothing up against Edward Cullen. I think much of his sexiness is from his low-key, vampirey nature. And, of course he isn’t shy about teaching Sookie about sex. No waiting for him.

    Both characters are magnetic, but so, so different. Even with the vampire connection, they are apples and oranges.

    So, Stephen honey, once again I say, LOSER!

    Of course, I definitely vooted for Rob. If I was going to vote for someone on True Blood, it would be for Eric any way. I’m a big fan of the books and I much prefer Eric to Bill. I’d take the sexy viking any day.

    Ive made no secret of my gigantic crush on Rob. So my happiness for his recognition is overwhelming. I truly think with a little time and some guidance he’ll have a fantastic, long lived, career. He trully is a beautiful guy and will go on to make intruiging movies.

    I watched True Blood for a while, then sort of forgot about it. I’ll have to check it out again. Though I voted for Rob. duh! I mean, c’mon, no comparison.

    Ugh I can’t believe there’s only 10% difference right now (as of 730 pm)!!! WTH?!!? Sorry Stephen fans, if you’re all here, but come on, just look at their pics side by side?!!! Oh man, I gotta keep voting, will never hear the end of this if Bill wins over our Edward from the person who made me read and watch True Blood!!!

    Wow-I can’t stop looking at Rob’s pics to go vote! Ha Ha! A little bit of stubble looks great on him-so sexy! Going to pull myself away from Rob’s pics now to go vote. I do love True Blood but Stephen is #2, Rob should definitely be #1!

    First off Anna isn’t exactly a “new rising star” and secondly she’s not a vampire! I can’t believe they tied! That’s kinda Dumb! Not that I don’t like both shows and books I do but I don’t think she should have been in the running. Now if he was up against someone else like he is Stephen Moyer for “Hottest Vamp” then whatever but Anna… Seriously she’s been acting forever she’s not exactly new to the playing field.

    YAY ROB!!! i am sooooo happy that he is being recognised now! i mean before twilight he was ” the guy who played cedric diggroy” but now they know him as Rob!!!

    I think there’s a bit of an age dichotomy in this poll. Speaking for myself- a million years from my teens and out of my 20s too- while Robert Pattinson is a gorgeous (young) man, Stephen Moyer is a sexy MAN…. they set my heart aflutter in different ways, both good, but one more mature than the other.

    Looking at the to guys side by side….well, Stephen is trying to give
    that look that only comes natural to Rob, and the little scruffy stubble……much to harsh and scratchy looking on Stephen,and well…. just perfect on Rob. Enough from me. Yeah, I voted for Rob.
