love it! its a nice change. i think the only people that will have a really big problem with it are the people that can’t differentiate between edward and rob. good for him!

Maybe this means all the publicity bookings are over for him. I have really felt bad for him lately, he has been doing publicity non-stop for months, answering the same questions, getting screamed at…he must be exhausted and ready for a break from all the madness. Rob has been an amazingly good sport about it all, answering all the questions cheerfully and thoughtfully. Besides being in awe of his total hotness, I really respect him for his attitude and for refusing to let all this go to his head.

Isn’t there a no hair cut rule? And don’t franchise movie generally have the rule over stars even if they go and film stand alone movie like ‘Part per Billion’?
He’s gotta have either extensions or a wig for New Moon. Now theres going to be a shock for a guy who doesn’t care about personal hygiene.
I like it though. But its a drastic change.
One can’t help but wonder if it is a rebellion or a protest about actors looks and their casting in support of Taylor. Or is it just Rob proving he doesn’t have to conform.

Wow, I am embarrassed to say that I didn’t realize how much I liked his long hair. I never consciously recognized that until he cut it. Still, his face is gorgeous no matter what. It’s just this hair cut makes him look a lot younger, like in his cedric days. With his longer hair- well he looked a lot more manly and yes, like all of you have said- it really was “sex” hair and made me want to run my fingers thru it, grease and all :lol. He’s still ridiculously good looking though. It’s amazing how someone’s hair can make them look so different!

I don’t care what Rob does personally. It’s his head, his hair. With that said, he has signed on for another 2 movies and his hair needs to look the same. Vampires don’t change. Edward in the books has tousled hair. Not a crew cut. If Edward in the New Moon movie has a crew cut, that would be absurd. Edward is absent in much of New Moon, so I am hoping they will film his scenes last. I can’t imagine that the director, or Stephenie Meyer, would even consider filming him as Edward with that hair.

Talk about mass hysteria. It’s just hair people. Besides he looks great either way. Rob Pattinson was sex god material (from what everyone, and by everyone I mean hormonal teenaged girls, says) pre-hair cut.
