ROB PATTINSON, TAYLOR LAUTNER, AND JAMIE CAMPBELL-BOWER TO ATTEND COMIC CON?

Thanks to our friends over at The Twilight Lexicon and His Golden Eyes, we have some Comic Con scoop for you today. Reportedly, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Jamie Campbell-Bower are among those attending. Read below for more:

According to a press release from AMC, Jamie Campbell-Bower will be attending. Though he’s listed as attending on behalf of the AMC mini-series he appears in, there is no mention of whether he will attend for his role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon:

Stars of AMC’s highly anticipated mini-series “The Prisoner,” including Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ, Thin Red Line, Pay It Forward), Jamie Campbell-Bower (Sweeney Todd, The Twilight Saga: New Moon) and Lennie James (“Jericho”) descend on Comic Con 2009 for a panel event and exclusive sneak preview of the highly anticipated six-part series.

According to Taylor Lautner Daily, Taylor is confirmed to attend (pending schedule conflicts):

TL Daily has confirmed that Taylor Lautner will be attending Comic-Con International 2009 in San Diego!!! We contacted his publicist directly and spoke with Annick, and she confirmed that Taylor will attend Comic-con, pending scheduling conflicts.

And finally, Spunk-Ransom has confirmed that Rob will not only be attending Comic Con, but that he will be attending the Teen Choice Awards (pending schedule conflicts, of course):

We just confirmed Rob is scheduled to attend Comic Con and the Teen Choice Awards – pending scheduling conflicts! We will re-confirm again!

Edit: Melissa Rosenberg, screenplay writer for the Twilight saga, has just confirmed via her Facebook page that she will be attending Comic Con as well:

Just found out Showtime has bought the three Twilight Saga movies for pay cable. Between this and Dexter, I’ll be bound to the Showtime “family” more than ever, which I’m delighted about. I’ve been happy here. There may even be a little cross-promotion at Comic-Con later this month. Who knows!? But I’ll see y’all there.

So there you have it, folks! Three confirmed cast members (and now a screenplay writer!) for today. Don’t forget that cast members Billy Burke and Rachelle Lefevre have also confirmed via their Twitter that they would be attending, and Kiowa Gordon confirmed to us in person on Saturday that he would be attending (he also mentioned he would be there with Rob, Taylor, Kristen, etc. but there is no official confirmation of that). Also remember that all of the above will be attending pending schedule conflicts.
