SCREENSTAR: FIVE REASONS TO LOVE TAYLOR LAUTNER

Last week we brought you ScreenStar’s top five reasons to love Rob Pattinson. This week Colleen Joyce at ScreenStar brings us the top five reasons to love Taylor Lautner.

Jacob Black. The pages of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga captivated us all but it was Taylor Lautner that brought the beloved werewolf to life on screen. The casting was perfect for Jacob and the chemistry that Kristen Stewart shares with her costar is undeniable.

Confident. Fine, Rob might be the take your breath away beauty but there is something about Taylor’s confidence that makes him irresistibly sexy. Always standing tall, Taylor never seems to back down from any challenge and wholeheartedly gives life 100%. It is that confidence that he exudes that makes him a babe magnet and has millions of fans torn between Team Edward and Team Jacob.

Determination. When his job was in jeopardy last December, Taylor hit the gym to prove to the skeptics that he could be leading man material. Thirty pounds later, Lautner emerged as serious competition for heartthrob Robert Pattinson. The sheer will and determination that Taylor displayed should be praised and heavily rewarded.

Yep, I like the list, Taylor is very cute, he is confidant and out there, for someone his age, he speaks very well in interviews and he does make a great Jacob, even though I am 100% Team Edward!
THE only thing is he will NEVER be serious competition for Rob!

Taylors cute but he does everything by the book, i prefer Kristen/Ron because they speak their mind.

Hey anonymous: Who is Ron? Just kidding!

I love Rob as Edward, he made us believe. I just saw yesterday that he is arguably the most famous/hottest celeb in the world right now. A pretty heavy title to tote around.

That said, Taylor stepped up to the plate and held up his corner of this very under-the-microscope love triangle. I know there was quite alot of barking about his not being tall enough, but, he grabbed the horns on this thing and who now could see someone else as Jacob? I know the muscle suit was a lot of hard work, but, it isn’t just that. When he is on screen, and frankly off screen as well, he personifies Jacob. I’m talking the heart and soul of Jacob. The youth and sweetness Stephenie so clearly defined. And to keep all that solidly in his corner, no one, but, no one has the Jacob smile that Bella loves more than Taylor.

When ever I have seen Taylor in an interview, be it sit down, on the red carpet, or off the cuff on the street, he is warm, friendly, polished and clear spoken. He displays more confidence than either Rob or Kristen. I’m not knocking them, I love them, but, both are visibly rattled when a microphone is in their face. Taylor is not. At least he doesn’t appear to be. And, let’s face it, theirs is a business based on appearances.

So, I didn’t need this list to know what it is I love about Taylor, and especially to know what I love about him as Jacob.

I didn’t need this list to know what’s to love about Taylor…. I think he’s just so much, well, more attractive then Rob, I guess you can say. I don’t even think Rob’s good-looking!!!

I love Jacob and i really think taylor brought him to life. Rob is sort of good looking but something about Taylor makes him so great, sweet and Handsome. Unlike Rob ,Taylor worked for his role and showed that he is worth something. And Rob has done what to earn that?
