2ND TWILIGHT TRAILER SHOWING ADDED IN ROME
The Hollywood Reporter has an update on the new footage being shown in Rome. Information below:
Ticket sales for the third edition of the Rome Film Festival opened this week with a boom, officials said Wednesday (Oct. 8), showing that the public paid little interest to the political turmoil that temporarily cast the festival’s future in doubt earlier this year.Sales opened Tuesday, and by the end of the day some 10,000 tickets had been sold, about 3,000 more than on the first day in 2007 when a total of 110,000 tickets were sold by the time the festival closed.
The world premiere of Catherine Hardwicke’s romantic thriller “Twilight” was in particular demand, the festival said, with tickets sold out in a few hours, prompting organizers to add an additional screening of the film on the festival’s last day.
The Rome festival takes place Oct. 22-31.
I believe this speaks to how much money the Twilight movie might make. Even just the trailer is in such demand that they’ve added a second showing. Wow! What scenes do you hope to see in the trailer (I’d like to see Edward and Bella in the meadow.)
