SONY PICTURES: WHAT WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU IN 2012?

In honor of their movie 2012, a film about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells the struggle of the survivors, Sony Pictures is asking us, “If the human race were to survive, what works of film, art, literature, and music would you choose to preserve?” The voting has ended for the film category, and Twilight came out at #1, followed by Moonwalker and The Star Wars Series.

Nominations are going on now for the literature section, so if you’d like to hop over and nominate Twilight in that category, you can do so here.

    Ok i have to say as much as i love twilight i dont think it was the best movie off all time and if thats the only reminder of the books left over i would be sad. I love the movie but its not as great as the books and i think there are movies out there that are greater. Star wars trilogy should definatly be in the top three though. When it comes to nominating literature i will be voting the twilight saga because it is a great work of literature.

    I agree with Kelly. While Twilight has an enormous fanbase, it is most definitely not the best movie of all time, and a classic like the Star Wars Trilogy should be number 1. I am glad that it has at least made it to the top 3. As for literature, it certainly isn’t the best book series ever written, but it has generated a lot of attention and I think that it will have a high ranking as well.
