SPIKE: ‘TWILIGHT’ NOMINATED FOR SCREAM 2009 AWARDS

Spike TV has announced their list of nominees for the Scream 2009 awards, and unsurprisingly, Twilight made the cut. The awards, which honor the best in sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic genres, will be taped on Saturday, October 17th, but air on TV on Tuesday, October 27th. Below are the categories in which Twilight was nominated:

• The Ultimate Scream: Twilight

• Best Fantasy Movie: Twilight

• Best Actor in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show: Robert Pattinson; Twilight

• Best Actress in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show: Kristen Stewart; Twilight

• Best Villain: Cam Gigandet as James; Twilight

• Best Ensemble: Twilight

• Best Supporting Actress: Ashley Greene; Twilight

• Breakout Male Performance: Taylor Lautner; Twilight

• Scream Song of the Year: “Decode” by Paramore; Twilight

    Oh! I’m excited…hopefully it’ll be another award knockout like the Mtv Movie awards were! =) I just hope this time Paramore wins for best song, because I really think they deserve it…

    Yay! I voted all twilight, and also harry potter in some other categories… There sure will be something to scream about if twilight wins completely like in the MTV Awards!

    Breakout Male Performance also has Rob listed, not just Taylor….not sure why they left that out.

    It was really fun when I went last year. Hopefully I get to go and support Twilight again.

    Voted for all that is Twilight and it’s cast that was nominated.
    And like Amy said Rob was also listed as Breakout Male, so I voted for Rob but, would have voted for Taylor if Rob would not have been there.
    Sorry Taylor, but to me Rob would win everytime.
