I just finished reading Dear John a couple weeks ago. I plan on seeing the movie as well. I know it’ll be sad but I think SM’s right. Just to see Channing Tatum develop that relationship with Richard Jenkins is going to be so amazing yet so sad. That’s probably when I’ll cry… at that clutching moment (if you’ve read it, you know what moment I’m talking about)! Might check out Guernsey…

I read Dear John when it came out and actually met Nicholas Sparks on his book tour for the book. I had him sign that copy and another one of his books! Nicholas Sparks is right up there with SM and JK Rowling as my all time favorite authors. I love all three for different reasons, so I can’t pick one as a favorite! I plan on seeing Dear John too and I plan to cry as well. Thankfully, I haven’t read it in a long time and I only read it once, so I don’t think I’ll be able to pick up on any book-film discrepancies.

in regaurds to the movie recomendation. i just finished the book dear john and plan on seeing it more than once. next to the twilight saga it was one of my favorite books!!!!!!!!
