STEPHENIE MEYER.COM UPDATE: SAVE THE BOOK BABE NEWS/APRIL FOOL’S JOKES
The lovely Stephenie Meyer has taken to her website today to give an update on the upcoming event she’s attending, Save the Book Babe, and also clear up some of the rumors swirling on this April Fool’s Day.
First up, she’s added a new item to the auction block! Hobo Skateboards has created a one-of-a-kind “The Host” themed board, and it will be available for purchase at this weekend’s event!
And lastly, Stephenie also made a quick mention of the terrible rumors going around the internet today regarding her health, “Midnight Sun”, and more:
Also, despite some really tasteful Fool’s Day pranks on-line, I want to assure you that I am in excellent health, thank you very much. Also, I have no current plans to write any scripts, sequels, or collaborations, nor have I been to any conventions this year.Have a great week, everybody, and I hope to see many of you this weekend at the Book Babe event!

I absolutely love “The Host”, and I am now in love with that skateboard deck (even though I can’t skateboard for the life of me). Whoever wins that auction is very lucky! I also have to say, that I think it’s sad Stephenie had to speak out against the horrible April Fool’s Day jokes going around – I think many of them crossed the line.
