STEPHENIE SATURDAY: ‘BREAKING DAWN’ – WHAT DOES THE COVER MEAN?

Posted June 27th, 2009 By: Team Switzerland 4 Comments »

A big curiosity with each book in the Twilight saga is the meaning behind the cover of each book, and Breaking Dawn is no exception. With its red and white chess pieces, complete with chess board, many had (and still have!) their theories about what the cover of the fourth and final book actually means. So, who can tell us exactly what that cover means? Stephenie Meyer, of course. In this week’s edition of Stephenie Saturday, TAer Claire brings us Stephenie Meyer’s answer to this popular question. As always, we’ve added some questions at the end for you to think about and respond to.

So without further delay, we bring you the answer to the following question: What does the Breaking Dawn book cover mean?

hey Michaela I just thought I would tell you what I know about the Q u asked. Sm did write a 5th book called “midnight sun” it was over edwards point or view in twilight. but, unfortantly someone took her copy she wrote and published most of it on the internet so Sm decided not to publish it b/c she was really hurt by whoever stole it. I do hope that she finishes it and publishes it but I doubt it. (to read the rought draft of mid night sun go to her website and you can read it) I think it would be really kwel if she wrote a 5th book about renesseme’s life..

No, Michaela, unfortunatley there will not be a fifth book…She’s still writing Midnight Sun which is Twilight in Edward’s POV if maybe that’s what you’re thinking of.
